CIBI caulingwood is a different kind of Cafe where you can drink your fav Coffee and Wine.nSome very good food to try.nThe seating arrangement is quite simple but still gives you some rustic feelings.nWe tried Orange Almond Cake , Miso Savoury Twist with Iced Latte with oat milk . Everything was good .nThe staff is very polite .nMust try once .
A sunny day for a brunch in Cibi, Collingwood .nnI got the ultimate traditional Cibi Japanese breakfast plate! It consisted of salmon, egg, mashed potatoes, rice, vegetables, miso soup and some extras of natto, sour plum, seaweed, and pickled vegetables nnWhilst I appreciate what a hearty and healthy meal it is, unfortunately, it was quite bland and underwhelming. None of the items had much seasoning to them and the portions were quite small The cafe sells quite decors and interesting grocery items which I appreciate though! Probably won't return to - a 3/5
The food was decent, though not something I feel the need to come back for. It’s a bit pricey for the size, and the place is definitely busy and popular. I wouldn’t say it’s my favourite food, but it’s a good spot for a quick catch-up. The atmosphere is lively and buzzing, so it’s not really the kind of place for a quiet, relaxed chat.
Exceptional everything : quality of food, service and atmosphere. Definitely has a good homely feel about it. Can be busy with a lot of walk in’s . If you waiting for a table - plenty of things to look at or shop for traditional Japanese kitchenware and giftware. The canine has unique old factory/warehouse look - spacious and comfortable.
Mixed opinions. Food was the major let down. The lunch plate was pretty basic and only had a small piece of salmon, for about $28.50. Tasted okay, but felt like something you could whip up at home. The udon noodles was a lot better but quite small for the price. Coffee was decent but a pretty small cup. Atmosphere was amazing though. Staff were good as well. I'd come here for a coffee maybe and a browse of the shops and enjoy the atmosphere. But I wouldn't recommend the food here. I've left hungry and feeling like $60 between us 2 didn't get me that much.
