I was always happy with their food especially lamb and chips. Since moved from Mordialloc to Cheltenham I still get from them. My daughter even had few packs of lamb&chips for her 10th bday party last year. BUT.. tonight I got a lamb&chips for dinner as usual and it was very disappointing !! Lamb was burnt and hard! I don’t know if I wanted to get from them next time.
Nice chicken. Chips arre salty but I like salt on my chips but may be a bit much for others. 3 tables out the front each with 4 seats. A nice breeze when sitting there.Food: 5/5
It seems like an ordinary charcoal chicken place at first looking from outside. However, upon entering the premise, you are greeted by friendly staff who are smiley and prepare your order promptly. They are not fussy about your particular requests either e.g. chicken breast for 1/4 chicken, doubling up the same type of salad. The chicken is delicious and I love the variety of fresh salads they have.
Best charcoal chicken around. Even under the pump on a Saturday night, still have great service, a smile on their face and a great feed.
Parky Charky is the holy offspring of food and service. The seasoning is always perfect and the HSP’s are to die for. The only bad thing is that parky Charky has ruined HSP’s for me because there just so damn good and no other charcoal chicken can ever replicate the taste I get from Parky Charky.
I’ve had a fair bit of charcoal chicken in my time - but this isn’t chicken. This is like if the gods had taken the purest bird, blessed it with sacred spices, anointed it in a magical basting, and then sacrificed it on a divine spit, to grill over holy fire and coals. And they get it perfect every time! It’s a religious experience. It’d make the pope want to sin. This is the best charcoal chicken in Melbourne, probably in Victoria. Even the stuffing is amazing, you’ll want to eat it by handfuls. Do yourself a favour - make a pilgrimage to this holy site and grace your senses with this amazing feed at least once in your life. You’ll never want to buy chicken from anywhere else again.
Bbq chicken and chips here are the best . The Greek, Egg, Pasta salad are delicious.The service is warm, friendly and professional. Our always the go too food take away place. Highly Recommend.
Don't order online, they give you the old chicken... if you want this chicken go in and select it yourself or go somewhere that honours online orders. Went to this place last week and selected my own whole chicken and it was good. Just ordered on uber eats and the chicken was left at the door without notice was curious as to why it was taking so long, so I went to leave the front door open [and] there it was. Took it inside opened the bag only to find a blackened dry chicken.... needless to say I put it in the bin... my dog found it and thought it was ok... these people that treat online customers with such disregard need to wakeup. Never buying anything from these guys again!
The charcoal chicken here was excellent! I had ordered chips and chicken and it was soooooo delicious!!! In my opinion, the best part of the meal was the chicken as it had been very appetising and there was barbecue sauce I definitely recommend having lunch here!!!!!!
I've never seen young men work as hard and as fast as the young men that run this charcoal chicken shop. They were very efficient, polite friendly and welcoming. They deserve a pay rise.. They are doing an amazing job. Well done guys your awesome. Will definitely be back and not to forget their charcoal chicken and salads were absolutely delicious Keep up the amazing work boys
