Exceptional dining experience, we hadn't made reservations and the staff were more than accommodating as soon as we walked through the doors. Prices are amazing especially the kids meals with free drinks and dessert. Wait staff have impeccable table service, the entire area was very clean including the restrooms. Food was served hot and super fast, not to mention delicious and massive portions. I highly recommend to all, I was super impressed and will definitely be back again next time I'm in Rotorua.
Was lovely. Took a client out who has some sensory overloading and intellectual disabilities. Staff were kind and allowed her time without rushing her. Staff were helpful and answered questions. Only thing is the music was quiet loud and hard to hear over however we did not ask if it could be turned down so that was on us and I'm sure they would of been happy to help.
First time dine in at Lone star Rotorua, Absolutely amazing food, outstanding customer service....staff were very friendly and Mr shine has been so helpful to chose the tasty dishes for us....highly recommended.....affordable price. Very lovely environment I would give 5 star for this restaurant. Will be back!!!!!!!!
Meals only average unfortunately as they looked lovely, crumbed chicken was a tad crunchy.The tequila lime scallops however are bloody tasty.
We had an awesome time here. We ordered 2 rib eyes cooked to our preference. We also had the kids' ribs & the regular pork ribs for a friend. My wife's prawn star was on point. The lemon lime bitters was so balanced & had the perfect amount of ice. It was so good, I had 2. The only feedback I have for the desserts we ordered was the milk bar pudding was swimming in butterscotch sauce which was too much for my 13yr old. Kid-friendliness: Always a good place for family dinners. Good food options for kids. Parking: Street parking was free after 6pm

Bad experience right from the start. Unfriendly receptionist, mediocre food, and staff unprofessional and unfriendly. Sad, as we otherwise like lone star. This branch we will avoid! @owner: Thanks for the offer, but no. We should have made ourselves heard while dinning. However, we didn’t want to risk to make an unpleasant experience even more awkward

Went here for dinner last night, under vegetarian they had a salad, that only actual vegetarian ingredient was Lettuce then not vegetarian was, Bacon, Parmesan, and an option to add chicken breast. I'm not vegetarian but was looking for a salad if I was this would have been unacceptable. My partners beef patty was to raw for him and it was pricey for what we got. Service was good, staff was friendly it was a nice environment.
Nice food, place was a bit cold. We went a bit early for dinner tho, place got busier as we were finishing dinner. Lamb was good, mashed potato was nice too. Salad was okay, a bit singular with cabbage. Kumara fries was beautiful.Food: 4/5
