Amazing spanish meal. Tapas style and very well done. Loved the sangria and all the dishes were well displayed and had amazing flavour. Went with my husband and we had a chicken, pork belly and he got a seafood, and 2 veggie dishes. Was the perfect amount for 2 people. I definitely will come back. The waitress was very knowledgeable and friendly. I want to make it back on a Saturday to see the salsa dancing!
Lovely Spanish restaurant with nice ambiance, although with the front door open, the street noise wasn’t as pleasant. The drinks and wine list were extensive including a few interesting selections like vermouth. The tapas were quite generous given the price. Would love to go back when there is music on but they hold it on weekdays.
Fantastic! So nice to find a local restaurant with real atmosphere, buzzing all night long. Food was delicious, reasonably priced and well portioned. Staff are friendly and attentive. Highly recommended for a fun night out. We can’t wait to go back!
Thoroughly enjoyed our meal here. The waitress was friendly, and everything we ordered was delicious. We got the beef meatballs stuffed with manchego, creamy prawns in white wine, and the mixed paella. Would love to come back here to try the other yummy options on the menu!
Nice place in St Leonards for dinner. There are a lots of tables in the restaurant. We were arranged to be seated on the second floor. The slow cooked tender octopus tastes good. Really soft and boost your appetite with the little spicy flavour. Meatballs are delicious as well. The meatballs are homemade and filled with cheese. Tastes perfect together with the sauce. The seafood paella is quite good. Plenty of seafood but the mussels are a bit small. The rice is cooked right. I love the chewy texture. The portion is too big for serving two so we packed half to bring home. However, the churros is a bit disappointed. I would like it to be more chewy. It’s crispy but a bit too dry. And the ice cream is very sweet, sweeter than normal ice cream
Good food, reasonable price we spent $380 across 7 adults. I specifically really enjoyed the Boquerones. Paella was okay . The staff were friendly and professional. Overall, our family was happy with the whole experience.
Food was OK. Paella I had - Veg and Chicken was bland but would be good for someone who doesn’t prefer spicy or hot food. Mushrooms, potato and chicken tapas were not bad. Customer service was good. Would I go back all the way from City on a bus? Probably not. One off is OK.
We had the Carne platter which was loaded with a tasty selection of meats. Very enjoyable. It’s a fun family friendly space and the service is excellent. The Flamenco dancing was fun to watch and made for a great atmosphere. We will definitely be back soon.Recommended dishesCarne Platter
Nothing like great company while enjoying Spanish food. The service at Lola Cocina is friendly and fast. The food delicious and atmosphere cosy. Good spot for date nights or time with your friends.Food: 5/5
Lovely Spanish restaurant in Crows Nest, with a charming ambiance and decor. The food was delicious, and the menu was extensive - truly paralysis of choice! The paella Negra was a touch salty, but packed full of yummy seafood. The ceviche was probably the least favourite as it was more chips than seafood. Don't skip dessert though, as the churros and crepe were also a great way to end dinner!
