Great venue. Went here for a brunch with family was a great venue, staff were polite and professional and the food was amazing. Also, had a kids play area which our 1 year old loved. Made us as parents relax and engage in conversation with other adults.
A big shout out to staff and management. We came in for coffee one of our ladies had a funny turn. The staff were so helpful and a lady lent us her wheelchair and two gentleman helped us . We appreciated all the help we got . Thank you so much
Not any real standouts on the very crowded three-page menu. All the eggs on our brunch orders were overcooked, bacon was burnt. Coffee was fine, staff were fine. Probably wouldn't go back.
Fast service, great selection, extremely tasty food. The chips in particular were excellent. And the counter sweets. Chicken burger could have used a bit more relish, but the berry tiramisu and lemon roulade were brilliant.Food: 5/5
Thank you to the team of chefs and front of house for an an amazing anniversary breakfast on this auspicious occasion. Everything was absolitely delicious, and delivered with a beautiful smile.
This is definitely the place to be right now. The Locals is lekker. South African lingo for saying something is great. From the time it opened it has been an extremely popular cafe. It is always busy and bustling with happy customers and friendly staff. The food is delicious and there is a great variety of cabinet food and food from the menu. The deserts and cakes/ muffins/ slices are melt in the mouth. Today I tasted the most delectable berry cheesecake. During the week a friend ordered the mint slice and in her opinion it was the most perfect she had ever tasted. The staff are efficient, friendly and fast. The decor is simple as are the chairs and tables. It feels like being in one's own home. It is children friendly with two areas for busy, little ones. There's seating inside and outside and today's lovely weather meant there were a great many people outside. The other advantage of the Locals Cafe is the free and plentiful parking. If you visit one cafe this year make it Locals.
Great vibe here and the food is delicious. The cafe is quite big with plenty of space and toys for kids. Bit of confusion with our order we had 9 plus a toddler but the staff were really friendly and sorted everything pronto.
This is a great cafe with great customer service! It’s spacious so can hold a lot of people as well as a few out door tables for you and your dog to enjoy! As all places do they have forgotten about me once, however, was well compensated once they realised... asides from that good food for a reasonable price and portioned perfectly.
I went there with a friend a week ago. I had hot chocolate with caramel slice and cup of coffee a plate of food. The slice l had l wanted more of it was so yummy. It very down to earth feeling with claiming way.
Lovely place to visit!! The environment has clean lines and is very welcoming. There are various areas, encouraging differing types of conversations. Good. The venue is also welcoming to children in one area - clever! Staff are friendly, inclusive, and caring - but not overbearing. I had a delicious Lemon tart with cream yum!. One companion had a Hawaian burger, while the other had Chicken and bacon waffles with cream! We were all delighted with our choices as they were delicious. There was even enough chicken and bacon - in a 'doggie bag' to give the grayhound a treat when they get back home. Yayyy! We will be back.
