Story

Monica’s is almost 2. It’s been a humbling experience and we are honoured to have played a part in the building of the West End Precinct community. We are blessed to be able to draw on the influences and creativity of our neighbours and in particular that of the gallery. Our menus are created using the best of what we have sourced from local and international suppliers. Our meat and eggs are local & free range. We aim to maximise healthiness without sacrificing flavour and provide you with an inviting, modern, dining experience that you can visit for all occasions. Our customers are our purpose and we are grateful to what you contribute to the Monica’s Eatery family. Relax and enjoy, we know you are in the best possible hands with our team.

The food was good — we enjoyed the house-made crumpets, omelette, and eggs benny. Unfortunately, the coffee service let the experience down. It took over 30 minutes, one coffee was forgotten, and our meals arrived well before the drinks. By the time the coffees arrived, we had already finished eating and were just chatting, and they were served one at a time. While we understand the delays given how busy the café was, we hope the coffee service can be improved. Btw, their coffee is good.
The food was amazing, filling and tasty. Perfectly cooked poached eggs on the Benedict.nThe service staff were very pleasant, friendly and attentive.nThe atmosphere was warm and cosy.nI'd highly recommend.
The cheese in that hamburger is not my favourite but chicken is okay. I dont understand why putting cinnamon powder on hot matcha latte. The set up looks nice
I have always wanted to go to this cafe, and today I got the opportunity! Unfortunately I was very disappointment. The food was really good but the service was very lack luster. We ordered coffees and my step mum asked for an iced coffee and even explained the type of iced coffee she wanted but received a normal coffee with milk. I normally wouldn’t bring this up, but when the coffee came to the table she mentioned it wasn’t right, the server didn’t even ask what was wrong, instead she went back to the counter and gossiped about it with her co worker. We also waited over 45mins for the food to come, which I am sure was because the order was not placed. I did not bring this up in person as my step mum has been really sick and really wanted her to experience something positive, but unfortunately this was not the place I should’ve gone for that. Such a yummy cute little spot for breakfast! Came here with my sister to work while we grabbed coffee and a few bites. Shared the walnut caramel bun, overnight oats, and the omelet with sausage. Everything tasted so beyond fresh. The omelette was such a unique taste with the pumpkin pieces and salsa verde. The tanginess in the yogurt in the overnight oats was well complimented by the sweetness of the honey and fruit. It was super creamy and we both loved it a lot! Would definitely come back and recommend.
