The loveliest place to sit out on a summer evening. We had fish and seafood specials, served with Greek and Persian salads. The dishes were fairly pricey but so generous that we had two between three of us. Would definitely go back.
We found Manou's by accident and we'll visit again as they have vegan options n19.10.24nMy birthday, I ordered my hubby beef lasagna, I had vegetarian lasagna both around $36 and I expected it to be a full meal, but it was a small square Plus salad of lettuce tomato olive and feta for this price you would expect chips as well.nAlthough it was a bit well done it tasted okay. But when we paid up my hubby felt we weren't welcome or he'd had a busy day and wasn't up to friendly service .nI do love the venue, it reminded me of our European holidays. But it'll be our last visit
We were there for a late lunch so it was quiet. However, on a summer’s day, I imagine it would be busy at the same time.nFood was sensational. Can highly recommend the fish ‘n chips.
We both ordered the seafood chowder- sadly this was very sparse on seafood! Lots of corn and potatoe, it tasted fine if you were after a potato corn chowder- but seafood sorry not anything obvious present. We had driven from the CBD and felt extremely disappointed. We have eaten this here previously when we lived in New Plymouth and it was delicious- we’re sad it’s dropped it’s A game. - the quirky mannequins could also find a new home as it feels like the place has taken a turn down hill.
Food was fresh and delicious. Big breakfast was filling. Fresh fish with date salad amazing. My go to food place when I'm in New Plymouth.
