The current Franchise Owners, Frank Ham and Craig Bellette, took ownership of LJ Hooker Toowong in October 2005 and in that time have built the business from a small local agency with 7 staff in a 70sqm office to one of the leading LJ Hooker businesses in Australia occupying 320sqm and employ 30 staff.

We are currently one of the fastest growing LJ Hooker franchises internationally and are ranked in the top 2% of the network for overall performance and have re-branded to LJ Hooker Brisbane West. The growth and results achieved by our office we believe are underpinned by two important cultural aspects of our business.

Best real estate agent I have dealt with to date. Leah Dewson has been great to deal with that when we decided to move recently we made sure we stayed with her. Always contactable and helps with issues quickly. Highly recommend LJ Hooker Brisbane West & Leah.

My partner and I have been renting through LJ Hooker Toowong over the last 3 years. Our property manager, Leena, is lovely and great to deal with. She made an effort to communicate with us and address any concerns that we had. When we vacated, the process of the exit inspection and bond refund was straight forward and done quickly and we were given a wonderful reference which helped us to secure our new property.
Had we not been moving interstate we would have considered continuing to rent through this agency.

If I could give zero stars I would. Stay as far away from this Real Estate agent as you can! They are the worst real estate agent I have dealt with in many years and I truly regret having them manage my property. I had to change property managers as the first one wouldn't return my calls or emails and things didn't get any better with Leah Dewson. Despite many complaints to the department manager Leah was more often than not unresponsive to my emails and would only respond when I clearly expressed how annoyed was. The final straw was that she 'forgot' to charge my tenants for water for their entire tenancy despite this clearly being on the agreement. Perhaps I should have checked more closely but given the very high management fees I was paying trusted they were doing their job. When I discovered this LJ Hooker took no responsibility whatsoever. I'm still out of pocket! If you are a property owner go elsewhere! I'm very skeptical of some of the rave reviews as I know 2 other people who have had their property with them with similar issues.

Katie Watson was my rental manager for 12 months and did a fantastic job in that time at keeping myself and housemates informed, attending to any property issues swiftly, and was always responsive to any queries we had. In our exiting the property she was fair and helpful in the process despite issues with our bond cleaners. I would recommend this business to anyone looking to rent in the area.

Rachel from LJ Hooker Brisbane west was our property manager since last 4 years. We were extremely happy with her response time and solution approach. A big thanks to Rachel for all her support and help during our tenancy in our last house. Our experience with LJ Hooker was excellent and we would highly recommend them to everyone.
