not bad not good, ive been here since grade one. class is funny, some teachers are funny. getting in trouble is funny. the only bad thing is the UNIFORM POLICY. the teachers are strict the good kind and encourage you to learn. but there needs to be more places to go throughout morning tea and lunch. Also im still waiting on that playground i was told by TEACHERS was gonna happen from grade 3. erm- what the shigma?!
If you child has special needs, move on. Our child suffered 3 teacher changes in 3 years to the point she had a mental breakdown. The new principal is a ghost, never seen rarely heard. Record every meeting as they never put into action any agreements made and deny they said such things. Worst administration I've ever seen, emails come out to wrong people or with wrong info, then another 2 comes to correct the mistakes of the mistakes. Each child is treated like a money generating unit and all compassion and care is gone. There are some good people teaching but the bad points far outweigh any positives. Find another school.
Been there for about 6 years and definitely the worst thing i couldve done to myself. Even for a private school that costs HEEPS it doesnt offer alot, they dont even have all the basic electives every school should have, uniform prices and tuck shop prices are insane.. theres always at least 1 toilet broken in the bathrooms? And theres a crazy amount of wasp nests next to the oval. Basically a really stricked school with rules that make zero sense. All they care about is how you look aka uniform because it "represents the school better" you WILL get detention for not wearing the correct hat but when it comes to racism they let it slide.? livingstone claimes to be a safe and flourishing environment for everyone but they have teachers yelling and swearing at students. ive been in every situation at that school you can imagine and i can say that instead of helping me they allways somehow manage to make the situation worse. Please dont send your child here they will get bullied and will make bad memories. End of story.
For 7 years my children went here. I gave them the benefit of the doubt for so many years. Wasn’t happy with what was happening with their education or socially within the school. If your child has any learning difficulties, don’t bother. Plenty more I could discuss but you get the idea.
They focus more on uniform rather than the education, VERRY strict on nails, hair, uniform, jewellery and phones and need to relax a little bit
Why so many bad comments about a school that helps learning and brings creativity and fun with your learning. I got bullied from a state school, i was failing and getting bullied so i left and this school livingstone has helped so much with my learning and no bulling. I am in grade 8 now and i came in year 5. i went from D'S to B's here at livingstone now i give it a 5 star rating.
As already mentioned here, their enrolments process is terrible. Waited three months for an interview; provided extensive reports and paperwork, then was informed that there was no capacity for them to enrol my child. They could have just told me that when I provided all the paperwork- instead of waiting three months for an interview, to then be declined. Honestly, if this is indicative of the working relationship one would have with the school, then this is not a good sign.
worst school for any child. the bullying is insane there but the teachers and Principal Wilson enable it because ‘it’s not in their job description’ or ‘everyone’s life is hard enough’. absolutely horrible
Brilliant school my eldest has attended since prep and is now in grade 9 and my youngest attended the early learning centre from the age of 4 and is now in grade 6. Excellent teachers and support staff and fantastic facilities. They both love going to school and are really happy. Would definitely recommend this school
Livingstone Christian College has been the answer to our prayers. We found the school Four years ago when we enrolled our oldest daughter into the schools childcare ELC and from then we knew that Livingstone would be our school in the years to follow. Four years and we now have two students in the school. Our children absolutely love going to school and always wake up exited to go. I thank the amazing principle, teachers and administration for this. I’ve watched my children absolutely flourish with their education but more importantly their Christian values. We felt the warmth and closeness immediately, great school and amazing people.
