The Little Hard Hills hotel is only a short drive from Ballarat but it provides the most welcoming family atmosphere and I think it is a hidden gem. I have been many times and my friends & family always say if you leave there hungry or disappointed you are very hard to please. Drop in for a Sunday lunch and be amazed at the quality and taste.

Booked a nights accommodation at Helen's Hut, Enfield, (which was fantastic on it's own rights) and found a referral to the Little Hard Hills Hotel - for this I will be eternally greatful. We had a well priced, and well presented meal - my only criticism: THE MEAL IS TOO BIG !! Then proceeded to share a thoroughly enjoyable evening with mine host Sharon, and a fun loving group of locals. This pub is your typical "rural" pub, operating on restricted trading hours, but if you are visiting Ballarat and surrounds, and staying overnight, put this one on your list! (You'll possibly see us there ) Andrew & Sharon, ARARAT, Vic.

The perfect pub and restaurant. Incredibly friendly family run business with pool table and kids room. A great place to meet the locals and swap stories of the fish that got away, or just hide from the family. They serve a good variety of meals which are delicious such as my favourite kiev and a range of deserts that will have you losing the top button on your jeans. Overall a great place to take the family.
