A charming little Motel with some pleasant surprises. Colour me easily impressed but the rooms are surprisingly more modern than what most Motels are. A generous sized TV, more modern bathroom and a comfortable bed. Otway motel was a wonderful surprise. Very clean and with a beautiful if small garden area, it was a wonderful stay with very friendly and polite staff.nnWill be a returning customer if work sends me this way again.
Super happy with our stay at Otway Gate. The room was more spacious than we'd expected and the shower really nice relief when you're travelling!. But it was the staff that made it stand out - they were very quick and eager to help us charge the car, and were very friendly all round. Colac itself is really nice; we enjoyed an afternoon by the lake and the botanical gardens.
I recently stayed for one night at Otway Gate Motel in Colac with a few friends, and we had a wonderful time. The check-in process was smooth, and the staff was friendly and helpful. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, with everything we needed for our short stay. It provided a great place for us to relax and catch up. The quiet atmosphere made for a good night’s sleep, and we appreciated the convenient location. The motel also offers free Wi-Fi and on-site parking, which was really handy. Overall, we had a great experience and would definitely recommend Otway Gate Motel to others looking for a comfortable stay in Colac.
We were camping in the forest when the conditions changed to dangerous. Trees blocked our return to the tent and at 9pm Graham settled us into a surprisingly lovely room and without a blink supplied us with some hygiene products we didn't have without fuss.nWe very much thank him for his very kind attention.nHighly recommended.
Awesome place to stay while visiting Colac. Graham was the perfect host and so very welcoming and kind. The rooms are so clean and the bed was really comfortable. So glad we stayed the night and will definitely stay here again next time we visit :
