We stayed here on our way back from Great ocean road to Melbourne. There was no accommodation available in the Great ocean road route. Therefore, we had to detour from Apollo bay. I feel this happened for good,as we were able to explore a new old town. It had it's own charm.nBaronga Motor Inn, rooms were really cosy and gave a dormitory feeling. Good for families with 2-3 kids,as there was one master room and one room with three individual beds.nThe service was good. We had a issue with the tap, and someone came up immediately to look at it.
Didn't see a human. Utilitarian room with the old fashioned breakfast chute. Good for a night
It was a good overnight stop. Hand everything we needed at a good standard. They offered a continental breakfast. No restaurant.
A great find for an overnight sleep. Close to Lorne and nicely located with nearby by supermarket and servos.nnHighly value for money and super helpful to secure a couple of hours before checking in.nnRooms are clean and spacious. Interior furnishings are alright for the price. The AC was a bit noisy with one High fan mode, we used that to heat the rooms.nnThe inn has public BBQ and swimming pool, which would be nice to use in warmer months.nnCheck in was super fast and easy, similar to the check out. Staff are friendly and super helpful. Highly recommend this as we did for our trip to the 12 Apostle from Eastern Melbourne.
I stayed here for work two nights.nEasy off street parking. Street parking for trucks and buses. If you have a low bus/coach/small truck you’re probably going to get it into the off street parking but check for the cables running across the buildings first.nComfortable big rooms. Nice and clean… spotless really. Friendly helpful staff. Walking distance to town, shops and cafes. Does have a couple of Foxtel channels for mostly sport and kiddies. Wifi works well. No streaming to tv or Netflix so bring a fire stick if you’re that way inclined.nAll the amenities you need - microwave, toaster, kettle, fridge, cutlery/crockery/glassware already in the room. Hairdryer in bathroom. Multiopurpose body wash/shampoo in shower. Good water pressure and shower head .nBed /for me/ was hard but that’s a personal taste thing. Plenty of extra pillows and blankets in the cupboard.nContinental breakfast available.nComplimentary tea and coffee..AND those yum bickies you get in some little motels :nLittle bit of noise from the highway but it’s not terrible by any means.
