On Friday night I enjoyed one of the nicest meals I've had for months at Little Black Pig and sons.

It was comfortably spaced and well lit with a relaxingly clean decor.

While the food was presented well for the eyes the real effort was for the taste buds. It was balanced, light and tasty.

Speaking with the chef (also an owner) he pointed out that the menu can change a couple of times in a week depending on the fresh produce and live seafood he procures. From the conversation, this was a person who cooks with joy (an essential ingredient in my opinion). 

Highlights were the pea ravioli and a truly succulent piece of Point Samson ruby snapper.

My husband and I enjoyed our meals.  Mel had the pork which was amazing.  The crackling was crunchy and not chewy.  Lots of flavour.  I had the fish which was well cooked with spinach and asparagus.  We also had the best prosciutto from Parma, Italy.   The staff were very friendly and polite.  Thanks Emilia for your great smile and service. We will be back.  We didn't have dessert, we were too full.

Food is great, pricy however no requirement to order sides. New owners very eager to please, smaller suitable for medium to smaller groups. More aiming for quality but still providing a good feed. Service is very friendly just finding their way.

Great find in suburbs.  Food was amazing especially pasta with wild boar absolutely unforgettable.  The service was friendly and  very professional. They are obviously very passionate about the food they are serving and trying to do things in sustainable way. Chef coming to our table checking if all was up to his standart was also very nice touch. We will be back  gor sure

The food was absolutely incredible ! The chef and the staff were so passionate about they do that you can’t help but admire the attention to detail that goes into every meal. Great value and I’ll definitely be back
