A backed-up gutter managed by strata has been leaking into our townhouse for the last six months. In my experience Link have been incredibly slow to respond and have been quite dismissive of our concerns since ‘insurance will cover it’ as though that justifies a slow response. Based on the poor patch job that was visible before the current round of leaks started, this has been an issue in the past and has not been addressed with preventative maintenance.
Link recently took over management of our complex. From day one Link have been fantastic, the transition process was smooth - despite our previous Strata Manager not providing them with all of the information on our complex - and ever since they took over the level of service has been excellent; issues or questions that would have previously taken weeks or months to be resolved if ever with our previous Strata Managers are resolved within days by the team at Link, and rather than being made to feel an inconvenience when asking for works to happen as we were by our previous Strata Manager, in addition to getting things done quickly Link have been asking whether there’s anything more than they can do to help. The difference is chalk and cheese between Link and our previous Strata Manager.
I've lived in a lot of apartment complexes, and so far I've found them to be the most responsive and helpful in Canberra when I've had problems. They also ensure the complex is kept in good condition.
