I took my laptop top to PC Doctor in Ringwood. They had it for 3 days and when I contacted them they said they would need it for another week. I went down and picked up my laptop and took it to Lindsay as he said if it is not a hardware problem he could fix it by the end of the next day. He pointed out that it was a setting in the cmos and he had it fixed within 10 minutes. He only charged me $20. PC Doctor charged me $99 and did nothing

I had slow internet speeds as well as internet dropping out intermittently. I had 3 technicians in 2 weeks that said there was no problem and then I rang Lindsay. He came out the next day and within 1/2 an hour he spotted the problem and promptly fixed it. Unfortunately I was unaware of the equipment and I wrongly told all the technicians that there was no other equipment on the line so they could not find the fault. Lindsay was the only one that looked and tested for something I said I didn't have. He seemed to understand how everything works and was quick to find an old answering machine that was switched off but still plugged in to the phone line in the garage. It has been almost 3 months now and I have had no problems at all since Lindsay came. I even got a 25% discount off the labour charge as I am a pensioner and he was already the cheapest technician of the lot. Total fee $52.50 which he rounded down to $50 for me. If I ever have another problem I will certainly be calling him before anyone else.
