Recently had a problem with my hi-fi which i couldnt resolve myself, based on the great reviews i had read i decided to give David a go at fixing it. Let me tell you those reviews were spot on!! If you're looking for an honest, reliable electronics repair service then these are your guys. I had a failed backlight on my TV that was out of warranty. After leaving a message David called back promptly and kindly advised over the phone on the process, cost and timescale to do the repair. In less than a week I had the TV back fully repaired and looking better than ever, all at a fair price. Polite and friendly, David was a pleasure to deal with. I will definitely be using Home Entertainment Services again for any future repairs.
I returned from holiday and found that my beloved Bose Accoustmass Home Entertainment System would not power on. I expected this to be the end of the road but thought I would check on online just to see if there was anyone out there who might be able to repair. I was astonished to quickly find Home Entertainment Services whose website stated they should be able to fix it, even better luck for me, they are local. Made contact and David said bring it over and he would take a look. I dropped it off on Monday and received a call Tuesday morning to say it would be ready around lunchtime. I have no hesitation in recommending David and will make sure all my friends and family know about their services. Straightforward pricing and charging model, for me excellent value. Thank you again for such a good service and the very fast response and repair.
The turntable on my very old 1964 radiogram was no longer spinning. David took the turntable away found the problem and sourced a new reconditioned motor, not an easy thing to do when dealing with a near 60 year old piece of kit. The new motor was installed and the turntable now works perfectly. The price for what is effectively a restoration was exceedingly reasonable. All in all HES were a pleasure to deal with. I highly recommend.
