Story

Thanks for dropping by the Limoncello facebook page or as some call us ‘The Cello’.

We’re a Melbourne inspired café located in the heart of Sandringham, Bayside (or Sandy for the locals). We offer breakfast ('til 3pm), lunch, all day snacks, Friday night Pizzas and the best coffee in Sandy (even if we say so ourselves).

It’s a favourite haunt for the locals. So during the week and weekends you’ll find families dining together, 9-5ers grabbing a coffee for their train ride to work, the teams of cyclists rehydrating, the local sport stars getting a quick fix and the younger guys and girls who love a late breaky.

It's been a long time since I visited, and I wasn't disappointed. Delicious vege breakfast with a decent coffee, well priced for local area. Warm friendly professional service. Only challenge was the toast, it was really tough to cut. Will go again.

Yeah nah.... ordered a mushroom burger, got half a mushroom See my photo. Being a mushroom burger you'd think you get a whole mushroom. It's like getting a beef burger with half a patty. I'll just keep going next door as per usual.
Excellent coffee Had breakfast here and really enjoyed the coffee and service provided. The vegetarian breakfast was really nice and filling. The place has a good vibe and would be a good place for lunch or an afternoon beverage. I would return here again

I just had some onions rings they were well prepared with a good portion. I also some Pepper Mint Tea. Which was just lovely. Today I had the soup of the day which was just lovely.
Popped in for a quick coffee as I have done many times. I only stop if there is a car park outside 15 mins allowed. Nice staff and the coffee is always good. Time to read a newspaper with a nice atmosphere to boot.
Amazing quality ingredients, served with a friendly vibe. We had the specials: Housemade Gnocchi with Beef Cheek & Wild Mushroon Ragu. My partner had the Smoked Trout Benedict with Dill Hollandaise & Potato Rösti. Both were just amazing. "Come in Italia"
Friendly and professional service. Delicious food and drinks. We were there on a public holiday and the young woman serving us was the best of Gen Z
If you know you know.... but if you don't... when in Sandringham brekky, lunch or dinner... Limoncello only if what you want is great food and coffee... pleasant professional service and great value... If you don't want the above then walk on! Yiur loss though... The best Vegetarian Brekky in the suburb as well! I even uber eats it due to the lockdown and you can see by the before and after....! SPOT ON!
