Great tasting pizza with a perfect thick and freshly made base. The pizza dough is delicious and the pizza is generously topped however the varieties of pizzas are a little outdated and the menu needs an update in my view. There is a small gourmet range but still not that inventive. If your looking for pasta this is not the shop for you as there are only two, All in all worth a visit though as the pizza is tasty and quality good, I'd just like to see a more modern menu.
Traditional pizzas! Venue nothing exciting but pizzas are yum! Crunchy and tasty bases without being overcooked. Generous toppings all the way to the edge.
My daughter's ham pizza had no pineapple - literally the main ingredient. My pizza had no sauce that I could taste. I tried to provide feedback to the curmudgeon beyond the counter and he became hostile. I felt like I was in an episode of Kitchen Nightmares and it was obvious this business wouldn't survive. Bottom line: theirs is the worst pizza I have ever had. Dominos is much, much better.
Very nice pizza with very low oil in baked base. The bases are handmade on-site and you can taste it. I would have liked more tomato sauce on the pizzas we got though.

As a takeaway Alex Pizza is as good as it comes particularly for quality, variety and value. When you ring and order your pizza is always hot and ready to go. Unfortunately when it comes to dining in, it is not quite the setting for an intimate dinner. Kerry
We ordered 3 different traditional pizzas. The cheese on top were all burned. They all tasted the same even though its supposed to have different toppings for each one. The only topping I tasted and saw was just ham didn't taste nice and the burnt cheese. Worst pizza I have eaten..If I have seen the pizza first inside the box before purchasing it I wouldn't have picked it up and brought it home. Dont order your pizza here, save your money and buy elsewhere. I will not be ordering pizza from this place again. Totally disappointed and disgusted.
Amazing traditional pizzas! Best flavour, best bases and home made sauce n base! Not greasy like so many others. Will be back when we are down this way again... Thank you!
Alex Pizza is in my opinion the BEST pizza in Melbourne!! Never been let down! Fantastic friendly service! Fresh ingredients. Not processed like franchise pizzas. Traditional gourmet delicious pizzas every time! Regular Friday night feast!!
Ordered from Alex's Pizza Bar for the first time the other night. I was happily surprised with the quality of pizza which tasted fantastic. Quality pizza at reasonable price. I definitely recommend you treat yourself like I did.
