service and atmosphere were nice, a nice cozy cafe on the main street.nUnfortunately, the food was kind of lacking. We went in for breakfast and got the open English muffin, the corn and bacon waffle, and the breakfast burrito. All dishes were not BAD but were seriously lacking in flavour. Seasoning seemed pretty nonexistent as it tasted like just ingredients. Pretty disappointing considering we spent nearly $100.n-nUPDATE: went back again to try the lunch menu, and see if it was redeeming. Unfortunately, again, it was the same if not worse than the breakfast menu.nWe got iced chais, the sweet potato fries, falafel wrap, and pork bao buns all pictured.nStarting off the sweet potato fries were actually pretty great, nice and crispy, and the sauce paired well.nIced chais were nice, they had icecream in them which was a nice little treat.nFalafel wrap was dry. The falafel itself was pretty flavourless and grainy. Chips were crispy and went well with the sauce we got with the sweet potato ones.nBao buns were just sad. Small pieces of tough pork, in a stale and hard bun, drowned in supermarket BBQ sauce. the plate was mostly chips, with a small amount of salad. It felt very much like a pub meal, I was pretty shocked to see only two small buns and the plate instead filled with chips and salad.nOverall not coming back here, both times the food left me dissapointed and unsatisfied. Staff is nice, atmosphere is decent, food isn't worth it.
My little one played in the big play area upstairs and staff were kind and happy to help.nCoffee was average needed sugar to taste nice.nPossibly would have been better with another staff member as the ones that were there, were working very hard.nThere was no lights in the upstairs area on. Those were the only reasons for not full stars.
Great food, I asked for no naan and for pasta or no carbs for my creamy prawns since they ran out of rice. Pasta would go so nicely with it, but I got Naan. That's oknPortion were good. Chips were actually very nice. Love the freshness.nWorth a try. Thank you for being open. We couldn't find anything looking this nice in the area at the time.
I had this delicious lamb shank today.nThis food was awesome with the unbelievable ambiance. The presentation n timely delivered food with great shapes amazed me totally. This is my second visit here n I wish to come back here.
On work assignment at Stawell for a week.. this place has plenty of reviews, I dropped by a couple of times now. The breaky bun with scrambled eggs is a great treat, coffee is good. Will have to be my go to place in the area. Very quite town, shame there isn't more foot traffic in the Main St.
