Nice experience, we stopped over on the way to Adelaide and it was great. The rooms had a very nice cabin feel to them and we had a great stay. Very clean and the owner was a very friendly man. Easy check in and made our life's easy.
Needs somewhere to sit to watch tv, nice big space with kitchen and desk but if you want to watch tv you have to sit on the floor or use a kitchen chair. It’s a really puzzling oversightnAll the rules are also odd, don’t open this cupboard, don’t use all aircons, don’t open this door… it’s not a fricken air bnb
Bed had one leg missing. Beds were rock hard. Freezer was full of ice and breaking away from the fridge. Not enough sugar. No hand towel. Rubbish left on floor. Dirt under fridge. One biscuit they supplied us was broken. As a housekeeper I was not impressed.
The owner is very rude and won't even acknowledge women when they come in. The air-conditioning units came off the ark noisy in the rooms. I won't be staying here again. There are better eating places around. The trotting track has a great bistro, so I would go there instead for a meal.
The motel is in the central town, has full of history at each corner. The staff is very friendly and helpful, easy to check in. Our room is also nicely clean and neat, very suitable to stay for a road trip, worth the money.
