Story

15 years going strong, Leroy Espresso welcomes its regulars and newcomers to dine in and enjoy a slice of Acland Street, seven days a week. We are a family-owned business and provide Gluten Free, Paleo, Organic & Vegan options.

Known for our family Chai recipe, All day-breakfast and Jazz on Thursday nights,
we pride ourselves on wholesome food, locally sourced produce, free-range eggs and cruelty free meats. Giving thought and attention to our menu means making many items in house; from our Paleo Cornbread to our Gluten Free Hash Browns, our Activated Almond Milk, down to our Tomato Relish.

Our coffee is supplied by the good people at Sensory Lab Specialty Coffee and a selection of Milks are available: Jonesy's Dairy, Bonsoy, Housemade Almond, Coconut, Lactose Free.

Food is amazing, coffee is average and service is not good at all. In fact it's almost non existent. Never any staff around the outside area so you do have to go inside everytime you need something which is frustrating when you want to sit down and relax. One girl was actually bubbly when I did manage to get her attention but the young boy seemed like he would rather be anywhere else in the world, possibly even prison and he spoke too softly for a waiter. If non of that bothers you then the food would be worth it. I had pancakes with bacon and strawberries

A very pleasant surprise. We were not expecting much and was just after a coffee and somewhere to hide from the sun. The coffee was magnificent and the food was perfect. A wonderful combination of eggs, bacon, avocado and cheese. A perfect start to the day.

Great breakfast options, inexpensive and good portions. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Well deserved four star review.

Busy spot for exceptional food and bev. Service could be a tad better but wait staff can only serve so many people at a time. A very solid cafe to take friends and family to.
