Was passed by this small cozy cafe and notice a menu on window. Food item looked so good and cheap. Had a coffee and breakfast was really nice. They also have vegan and Vegie breakfast and display items. Not many cafe does vegan and vegetarian dishes. I’ll be back again.

It’s a cosy little cafe with friendly staff. Their meat pies were extraordinary and exceptionally tasty! I’d always go back for a decent quality of meat pies.

Best big breakfast in Melbourne, go here whenever I get the chance! And when you order Crispy Bacon, it comes out perfectly!

This cafe is great for a number reasons: they have a whole menu page of vegan options, many of which can be done gluten-free (they also have a page of non-vegan options). Their food is yummy and affordable. They have a warm and welcoming atmosphere, and a sense of community. The staff are friendly and real. There's quite a few cushiony comfortable places to sit. They're kid friendly with toys and a hi chair. I see families, couples, singles, workpeople (blue and white collar), travellers, many ages, and people with laptops come here - a real range. They're open to feedback on the menu, and embrace improvement. What's not to like? Thanks Hide & Cheek! Not so cheeky after all. 😁
