I found Le Pine Funerals to be exceptionally caring and catered to my every need. They assisted in choosing photos from an album, were personable and allowed me to sit with my husband for a couple of visits including 2 hours at the end while providing me with refreshments. Very professional but also very down to earth, I couldn't have wished for more. Thank you for making a terrible loss trouble free and uncomplicated. Would definitely recommend.

Had my fathers funeral with Le Pine in Glen Waverley all seem to be going well until the day that had been set. It was a hot day (40+), we arrived at the entrance and we were informed by staff the air conditioner was not working at all. They were handing out room temp bottle water, there were no fans or contingency plan for the failure. The majority of guests were in the older age bracket and we were very concerned about the heat in the room. We had a Vicar specially invited to do the service. He said that he could not perform the complete service as it was too hot. We paid for additional catering for all the guests. On completion of the service the majority of guests could not stay due to the lack cooling We had planned and Irish funeral afterwards. Normally our family and friends would attend but the heat of the service took a lot out of the guests and could not stay on. Half the food and drinks were left over.The DVD of the funeral was pathetic to say the least. They missed half the service. They ruined what was to be a straight forward simple funeral service. When we complained to the manager they offered $300 off the price of the funeral or if we did not like that take us to VCAT.(Attitude) We did not feel they listen to our issues and just fobbed us off. We were grieving for our loss and felt Le Pine were only concerned about getting their money. We totally understand we are at mercy of the weather but we paid a substantial amount of money for this service and comfortable surroundings for our guests. We did not get this and ruined the celebration of the life of my father. Would not recommend Le Pine at all through our experience.
