Friendly staff, and wonderful cakes and pies. Staff are amicable and friendly, and were happy to have conversations with customers when I was there. Both savoury and sweet baked goods I have tried have all been delectable! The only thing bad is that all the sweets and deserts there are all very difficult to resist...

Could be better. They make a lovely Victoria sponge but it would be a HUGE improvement if they didn't put sugar in the freshly whipped cream of the cake - it's too sweet. Their selection is pretty basic, nothing special. Could use updating.

Always have delicious treats that I shouldn't eat and lovely pies, sandwiches and pastries. Good to stop on on your mountain drives to grab a bite to eat

The people who work in this shop are so rude! The quality of the food is very poor. Can't even use real cream, it's the horrible fake stuff. 
Have been there 3 times and it's never changed. I just can't be bothered anymore. There are far better bakeries all across the mountains, with lovely food and awesome people who run them. 
Lawson cake shop is horrible!
