We came in at opening time and the floor was filthy with left overs , peoples nails on the floor grease all over chairs and dead bugs everywhere. No excuses when you have just opened. I put my thoughts aside as I have had take out before and loved the food. When handed a plate it was dirty, the waitress quickly changed it. The food was great as usual but the cleanliness was very very poor.
We just got home from having dinner at this restaurant. We were a group of 4 and ordered Onion bahji, chicken korma, butter chicken, garlic naan and 2 desserts and EVERYTHING was amazing!! And I have to add that the staff there tonight were fantastic. In particular, the young guy who bought our food out. He was so friendly and funny. Both the young man and the young girl serving us are an asset to this restaurant. We love eating here, its our favorite Indian Restaurant and will definitely be coming back.
We ordered chicken tikka masala and naans from restaurant and one pista kulfi. Firstly the order was late for more than hour anyways they give complimentary when food is delivered but the curry was not good at all. I think the chicken is not fresh that is why the chicken has smelly and has very bad taste and also got one item wrong which is the mango kulfi instead of pista. very bad experience.
Wowow. I am paying your wages, and yet the waitress was ignoring 40% of my questions and talking to someone on her earphones. Service was abysmal. Truely abysmal. Food was tasty, but I never want to return when the female is working. Train her, or fire her.
I’ll give them 4 because the food was delicious, but the service was pretty bad. Not unkind, just unskilled. No samosas too, not good. The thing they suggested instead just ended up tasting like a giant potato gem. The mains were nice. Chicken tikka masala and lamb saag. Not a lot of options in the area. Close to the Lara station, lots of parking.
Bought take away tonight. Food was excellent, service was fantastic. Was a little on the pricey side
Food was amazing, Staff were friendly and service was quick…the bombay paneer is to die for. I go here quite often and really enjoy everything from the food down to the atmosphere.
The wait for my meal was pretty good, it was 10 minutes extra past the designated time however it was to wait for fresh naan bread from the tandoor oven, which if you have ever had naan before, you would ALWAYS wait for the freshest naan for your meal lol.
I ordered first time butter chicken from that restaurant and honestly, the taste was not good. Doesn't even feel like i am eating butter chicken. Very very bad experience.
Where do i start! Dont let my amazing photography skills fool you that sloppy sweaty mess is apparently onion rings, lets move on to the pricing scheme, the menu states one price then the lady at the counter states another what was suppose to cost $35 ended up costing $43 due to "a change in the menu", let me not forget to mention the sizing, what was once a large is now a regular and since the move from their prior restaurant it would seem that their respect and good customer service was left behind. What was once a friendly small restaurant is now a over-sized empty, crappy, one star if that, front for something i would prefer not know. If they spent more time on they're food and less on decorations maybe it wouldnt be lacking so much. We will not be returning, far from impressed the food was like if you we're to give the kids at maccas an indian menu and asked them to cook, as tasty as an old work boot.
