Great food. Fast service, nice hotel - well fitted out. Great place to catch up with friends. Nearly 3 1/2 hrs here. Very few other people in mid week.nBUT. Nobody cleared our table of plates, cutlery , glasses. After an hour , we moved the dirty stuff to near the till. Nobody moved that until nearly another hour later … staff too busy hanging near the till chatting. Over by the BAR chatting. Visiting the few other tables … but not ours , wandering around looking bored ..nGreat venue let down by lazy staff. And where was the duty manager ??? They need to MANAGE
Food was great and portions were generous, the fireplace in the bistro was very nice to sit near on a cold day. Got quite busy right on lunchtime, we were a little earlier so service was very quick.

Lovely old pub just up the mountains not too far to go from Penrith wonderful outdoor beer garden area and you can't get away from the massive screen showing footy, tennis, cricket, whatever you like. Beautiful meals come out of the bistro, we highly recommend the food, the varied and varying menu as do our friends who come up here all the time! Watch out Emu Hall 2773 and Laughin Boy!! These guys are GOOD!!
It's been a while, but lapstone Hotel didn't disappoint. Food was very good. Burger was very very good.nStaff was friendly and helpful.
