​ Unfortunately this wasn’t what we expected as a “log cabin" should be and speaking from experience (as have stayed in many others around the country) this was a bit dated and in desperate need of an up date. We were also disappointed to find that no basic commodities like shampoo, shower gel/soap etc were provided or even just simple things like tea, coffee, hot chocolate. Also on the day of leaving our 2 y/o son had an accident which made us a bit later checking out (which we informed the owner and was told this will be OK). However when we were leaving we were approached by what seemed like the owners husband and was very rudely told to get a move on as he needed to clean and prepare for the next occupants. I explained that we already said our son had an accident which made us late but the man replied back with "well, we all have kids mate". Consequently we shall not be going back. My advise is to look elsewhere, there are plenty of other log cabins in the area that are far better by accommodation and staff.

We stay here each time we are in Lakes Entrance. We stayed here 5 times already - possibly, the best recommendation! Very quiet place yet few minutes drive to the centre of the city. Nice cabins with outdoor veranda and own firepit. Parrots and possums visiting. And plenty of parking if you are with the boat or trailer.

What a wonderful little getaway so close to town. Such a delightful and cosy cabin with a wonderful wood fire. My only suggestion would be an update of the couches as they were quite uncomfortable, however we would still stay here again if we ever return to Lakes Entance; even if the couches remain. Thank you Lesley and Dave for making our weekend away just that little bit more enjoyable. :)
