For what it is this place is fine. Yes canteen style restaurant, but serving sizes were normal and prices reasonable. Nicely spiced Indian food. Got takeaway, no complaints.
Absolutely the worst sub continental food I've ever eaten. Sign outside and on the wall inside said 'special deal any curry and rice $8' but after I'd eaten this undercooked slop they tried to charge me twice that claiming I ordered off the menu and that was a different price! Weird and unpleasant experience.
Took a chicken biriyani take-away. good taste, good serving size and reasonable price. not that fancy place for dine in.
Food should be more consistent, rice was dry lamb was even dryer then the rice.
Wonderful indo/pakistani restaurant in heart of carlton .. Had lamb biryani and food was amazing . Loved it.. best place for late night food. Try Kebabs as well
