During our family's recent 2 weeks vacation in NZ North Island, we didn't come across that many Italian restaurants, especially ones that were reasonably priced. On the last day of our trip, we drove through Parnell, saw the restaurant and decided to eat there. The food was really good, especially the spicy pizza (see the pic) as recommended by the waiter. The pasta and risotto dishes we ordered were flavourful and portion-sizes were generous. They had a good dessert selection, but we were too stuffed to try. The waiter told us that La Porchetta is the largest Italian food chain in Australia & NZ. Will definitely look out for their restaurants in the future.

Came here for a birthday dinner and was very impressed with the level of service we received. Our waiter Sam kept us informed and made sure there was always water at our table (which other restaurants rarely take note of) Will definitely be back as the food was great too!

Best pizza in the town. Only problem, it's a small place where they tried to fit too many tables. Even going to toilet is a mission

One of our favourite places to eat. They offer some of the best pasta around. Highly recommend the food. Restaurant is clean and staff are friendly.

Nice service and great food. A bit salty for my taste, so I would give a 4.5 star rating if there were one. Highly recommend if anyone is looking for some Italian food in Parnell!
