A really friendly traditional kiwi campsite. Owners go the extra mile to help you with anything and you are always greeted with a genuine smile. Facilities are older style but clean. Hot showers incl plus free 200mb wifi daily. Pounamea is a little gem of a place to stop and take it easy for a while. Owaka just 3kms away has a decent 4 Square supermarket, a couple of cafes, museum, tourist info, lovely art gallery featuring work of the local artist. Plus a couple of funky shops. What more does one need in life?

Great campside with all the facilities you need. Very friendly and understanding staff that likes to help you out, and a stunnig price for a fully equiped camp-side in New Zealand.

Most definitely a recommended place to stay if passing by. 12 NZD pp for unpowered site and that includes unlimited hot showers, well equipped kitchen, 250mb decent Wi-Fi and a social lounge with tv and plenty of seating. Owner was lovely as well👌
