Thanks to Steve and Suzanne for an amazing stay.  It was the best part of our honeymoon.  It is an exquisite lodge with stunning views and the best hosts you could ask for.  Looking forward to our next trip back already.  Thanks again.

We visited Hokianga and the Kokohuia Lodge in February for our honeymoon, and couldn't have been more pleased by our experience. Steve and Suzanne are wonderful hosts that took great care of us, from cooking nice meals, telling us more about the region and showing us great trails for hiking.. 

The lodge itself is very comfortable in a quiet area with an oustanding view of the harbour and the ocean. There is dedicated parking, and you are short (5 mins) ride away from a couple of restaurants (Steve and Suzanne can cook a nice meal too..). 

We also loved the boatshed cafe (30 mins from the lodge) for a nice meal/coffee. This seems to be one of the nice hangout in the area.

I strongly recommend it..

Der absolute Traum. Perfekte Unterbringung. Schnelles Internet, super Strand. Hammer Aussicht. Sehr nette Gastgeber. Die beste Wahl in Neuseeland.
