One of my favorite kmarts as it feels laid back and not crowded. Even the customers are mostly kind and considerate towards others unlike some other areas of Australia. Shop staff are always helpful!
I want to give a huge thank you to James at Kmart Boronia . My daughter surprised us with two sets of toy storage units while we were away.nUnfortunately one of the tubs was cracked and by the time we came home a week later she had misplaced the receipt.nI went in the store today with nothing more than a photo just to ask if anything could be done and James went to upper management and arranged a replacement tub for us .nExcellent customer service!
This is my local kmart, and only recently as i hit around the 16-17 mark have had bad experiences. immediately as i walk into the store a team member will follow me through the entire store and watch me and look at me like i have a mask on ready to steal the entire store. I understand people my age steal but i don’t and have never. i have money and im willing to pay. it’s kmart not gucci.nThis happens everytime, even when i am with my mum they get me to show my pockets and all my bags, seriously. Today i went in there and bought about 4 things walked to go check out. went to a self register and a lady who was about 50 was like no over here please and then asked my friend about a charger she touched in store. she had just picked it up to see if it’s the right cord. but they accuse her of stealing it? I have had enough. Something needs to be done about this kmart, seriously so disgusting
This is bullshit. I went to go walk into boronia kmart at around 5:30pm. A security guard stopped me and my boyfriend and said we weren’t allowed in, I asked why and she said “not allowed.” I asked why she said “every time teenagers come in they steal.” I said “how do you know I’m a teenager?.” She said “anyone that looks under 25 aren’t allowed in.” I said “this isn’t a bottle-O this is Kmart.” She said “manager’s orders.” This is unlawful discrimination and bullshit. I should have said to her “so if one person of colour steals are you banning all people of colour?” No they wouldn’t because not only is it clearly illegal it’s bad for business. I will be going back and will put up a fight.
this place is the worst kmart in the whole of melbourne i have been to so many and this by far has been the worst experience. i went to this kmart a few weeks ago and they looked at me and said i am not allowed in this is discrimination towards my age yes people my age do steal but im not one of them people are different and i am not one of them people that steals i hate this. i feel so targeted when i walked through this kmart and i will fight for my rights being allowed to walk through this kmart freely and unbothered i am so sick of having these staff follow me around because of how i look and what i am wearing and with that talking in there microphones about me i brought 2 things and they still asked to see my bag and empty out my pockets when i got watched and followed around so they new i wasn’t doing anything wrong this is so unfair and embarrassing for the staff members.I HAVE HAD ENOUGH.
