Favourite craft store, easy to access. Love the range of everything there are lots of options to choose from. Staff were very lovely.
Staff were quite cold upon entering the store. The entire time my friend and I were walking around the staff member had been observing us and showing a negative attitude towards the two of us. As we reached the counter to pay for our items the lady became abrasive over not carrying cash it's the middle of a pandemic and had no signs around the store or register indicating a minimum on EFTPOS or otherwise. When questioned about a minimum or surcharge which my friend had offered to pay she snapped "I don't do that" and made it seem like the entire transaction was a chore for her.Once she realised how rude she had been, she attempted to make quick conversation, which honestly was more uncomfortable than her glaring at us the entire time we were in the store probably assuming that we were there to steal due to the way she staff member had reacted upon entering the store. I was prepared to return and buy alcohol ink and the works for my job but that will no longer be happening especially if that is the way customers are made to feel in store.
I live on MORNINGTON peninsula and travel down to visit the shop once a month. The prices are the best of any store and undercut some of the larger department type stores. They even undercut some of the well known on-line stores. The staff are very friendly and most helpful. They carry a good variety of stock and if they don't have what you are looking for, they are very happy to order it for you, if possible. A great little store.
