Excellent work as always. Andy is very friendly and you can always rely on him to service, maintain and improve your bike to a very high quality. He has great attention to detail. This time round on my first outing since collecting my bike I achieved 17 personal bests!
Andy is a lovely guy and lives and breathes anything bikes. His knowledge and desire to do things properly always give me confidence that my bike is in good hands. My Story is not a mystery His Story is of our shared history I went to the shop, I knew exactly what I would like But there in the window, is where I laid eyes on my bike Hand built, bespoke, with a loving hand It is no joke, cost me over a grand I won't bore you with every specification But I assure that build is the best in this nation I met a man, speaking of many fields Who's knowledge can expand, giving a bountiful yield If I have but one minor criticism of him, It's that he's a singleton, and not a twin Yes he loves his job, and does just fine He is a bike god, and became a friend of mine Andy knows bikes, both inside and out Riding, Building or Repairing them, is what he is about So as this, My Endorsement comes to an end It needs no reinforcement for me to recommend May be an opinion, seems to me to be a fact He clearly holds the title "The Best In Mac" With his skillset, you would not want to trifle To the best of the best . . . . . . andy@maccycles H.
Really impressed with Andy and his shop and great attitude too. I emailed Andy asking for the best time he could take a look at my bike and he replied within good time letting me know he was busy that week but ok for the following week to have a look. I took it over to him yesterday thinking I would have to leave it with him but no he did the work there and then! Excellent! I don’t think this would be the case every time but still really impressed. Thanks again Andrew
Very happy with the service I received from Mac Cycles. I dropped my Brompton in after the gears were skipping and for an overall health check. The bike is riding better than ever now! Highly recommend them!
Excellent service, I made a appointment for the next working day for them to take a look at my bike, but instead the owner fixed it while I waited, I would highly recommend this bike shop. Many thanks.
Highly recommended. I have used Andy @ Maccycles for several years for advice, service, wheel building and repairs to my bikes. Work is always to a high standard and a fair price. It is obvious he has a lot of experience both as a mechanic and rider himself and obviously loves his trade - always fun to talk all things bike and shoot the breeze with him. Andy always does his best to get me back on the road as quickly as possible and goes the extra mile to do so. I have recommended him many times to other cyclists and friends. It is great to support a local bike shop.
Excellent service, superb quality of work and very reasonable rates. Andy takes the time to explain the type of work needed, and discusses and recommends components and repairs even going out of his way to source very specific parts. I've been using Andy's services at Mac Cycles for years.
