Unfortunately I have to share the worst experience I’ve had with Kmart Belmont to date. I usually love coming here due to the great layout of the store, being open for 24 hours and close location. I came into store around 5pm to print out photos from my recent holidays and road trips and due to slow systems on the photo screens it took almost an hour to edit the 130 photos I wanted to print, when going to print it changed the self instant service to staff assisted 1 hour click and collect. I was really unhappy with this and was told by a young blonde lady on staff that it was because I was printing over 100 photos, I was confused as I’ve never had this problem before when printing large quantities. I told her I wanted to change it and she said she’d already started it and said it would be 15-30 minute wait. If I had known this I would have printed half on one self service and half on the other and be done and out of store within less then 20 minutes, the whole reason I used the self service photo computers was so I could oversee everything myself as they printer. So to use time I got other craft supplies that were on my wish list. Of course half the things I did want were not in stock or on shelves which is not really surprising anymore as most Kmarts nowadays fail to keep up with stock refill. I went to register to pay and then come back where I sat down to the side of self service desk. 40 minutes later I get up after almost 10 other people get their photo or click and collect orders. Another middle aged brunette lady asked me what I was after and I gave her my receipt and told her I had been waiting over 40 minutes now for my photos, she then came back with my wallet of photos already done with no clue as to how long they had already been sitting there. No apology and the other younger guy on self service desk ignored me completely. I was really taken aback by the utter lack of respect for customers and providing good customer service. After checking my photos to make sure I had the right amount I noticed around 5-10 of them had red lines through the bottom of the photos, thankfully I can cut off the bottom of the photo without ruining the rest. I left rather upset understandably and don’t think I will be coming back for a long while for anything. If Kmart does see this I hope they can update their photo printing systems and processes, put signs up to indicate the limit of how many self service photos you can print at once, and hopefully train their staff better in customer interactions and empathy/compassion, or better yet find new employees all together.
Super rude staff a lady at the changing room… gave another staff this pff look after I walked out and said I no longer need the basket for the clothes. Other than that, it’s great and convenient! :
Click and collects are always easy there. The peoples at that counter are so helpful even when busy and fast.nThe store is always clean and people doing their jobs well.
I received excellent service from a staff member called Sally. She took the time to check on an item I couldn't find, and when it eventuated that this store had none in stock, she rang Waurn Ponds, was put on hold for quite some time and then requested the item be held for me to collect. An example of terrific customer service.
Went there to exchange sandals I had given to me for Xmas. I had receipt and price tags. Sore the sandals for a minute if that. But I was refused I was told they had been worn. This lady was already upset by a trolley load of items that had been put in front of her to sort and just couldn't be bothered to help
