We visited the Good Guys Geelong looking for a proper coffee machine since we have only ever used a basic pod machine and honestly knew nothing about real coffee machines or how to use them. As soon as we walked in, we were greeted by a very friendly lady named Willow. She clearly loves her coffee because her energy and excitement for the machines really showed.nnWillow took the time to guide us through all the options and answered every question we had. Her product knowledge was incredible and she remained genuinely friendly the entire time. We were absolutely blown away by her professionalism. It is rare these days to find someone in retail who truly cares about achieving the best outcome for their customers, but Willow really does.nnThere was also a Breville representative named Karen who shared plenty of valuable hints and tips for first time home baristas. The advice made such a difference in helping us understand how to use the machine properly and how to brew a really good cup of coffee.nnWe are so grateful for all the help we received. If we ever need anything electrical again, we will be heading straight back to the Good Guys Geelong to speak with Willow. She is an absolute superstar.nnWe came home very happy with our purchase and we are now enjoying spectacular coffees every day.
Today I went to The Good Guys to ask about RoboVacs. At first, a salesperson named James was helping me, but I received a phone call and he started helping another customer while I was on the call, which I understood. After waiting about 15–20 minutes, my wife and I asked another staff member named Grace for help because we were in a hurry.nnWhen Grace started helping us, James came back and said that he was already serving us. Grace told him she didn’t know because we hadn’t mentioned it. He then looked upset and walked away, even though he was still supposed to be helping another customer. His attitude felt unprofessional and immature, and it made the situation uncomfortable for both me and my wife.nnWe later went back to talk to Grace to understand what happened, and she was very polite and explained everything clearly. She mentioned that she can't serve while we are already with someone esle, which is unfair, we can't wait, she also gave us very good information about the RoboVacs. She suggested same thing as james but knew a lot and explained things better and in more detail than James did. She was patient, confident, and very helpful.nnI want to thank Grace for her great customer service. She turned a bad weird experience into a positive one. Because of James’s attitude, I am giving 3 stars and I hope the store can improve this.
Do not trust anything they say. Was in store this morning 14/12/25 needed to order something that turns out wasn’t in stock. After being told to pay for it and they will get it in, I confirmed twice it would be in before Christmas. Was told yes.after giving them all my contact details, I wasn’t confident this was true so didn’t actually place the order. I then went to Harvey Norman Geelong who told me the item wouldn’t be available until Feb. I thanked them for their honesty and went on my was. Not even an hour after leaving the Good Guys, I get a call saying there was a delay in delivery and to call them. I spoke to a lovely person not the original sales person I spoke with who advised the item I purchased an hour earlier wasn’t coming until Feb.nGlad I trusted my gut and not the deceitful sales person.
I have bought numerous appliances from here. They had the cheapest extended warranty when we purchased a new Bosch washing machine. They will also beat other prices, make sure you ask for their best price. As with a few stores nowadays the website will say they have an item in stock online but you get there and it's not. I don't know if this is just a cunning ploy to get people in the stores.
My partner and I entered The Good Guys thinking we knew what we wanted, but what we were met with was the most outstanding service from Alex B. He confidently and accurately informed us of a more suitable dryer to sit atop our washing machine and even recommend the use of a Protective Matt to prevent any damage.nAdditionally, when the model of fridge we were after wasn’t available, the only one being a damaged floor model, he was able to provide a minor discount to a different model.nnFor the hour or so my partner and I were in the store, Alex was incredibly busy. However, the few times he had to leave us to assist other customers, he was always quick to return and check in on us. His professional and apologetic demeanour despite what was clearly a stressful afternoon of juggling customers was appreciated.nnI would recommend finding an excuse to shop here just to have the pleasure of being served by Alex.nnTL/DR; Fantastic team members made our shopping experience delightful!!
