The Good Guys Geelong is my go to place when I’m looking for a new kitchen appliance or white goods, I always find what I’m looking for and they are always the best price. This particular time I purchased a front loader washing machine and the sales assistant was very helpful Irishman, can’t remember his name, I always do my research before purchasing anything, but he still had some additional information that I wasn’t aware of. I was offered a good price with no fuss, plus extended warranty. I had shopped around and this was definitely the best price/deal. If you can find a cheaper price online they will beat it. I’ll definitely keep shopping here. Highly recommend.
We've been long standing customers with the Good Guys both here in Geelong and Gippsland ! today was a cracker with the reception area , whom lacked personality and any sense of customer service ! We paid a deposit on an item and the girl who served us stunk of BO!! So badly we were taken a back as well as her attitude it stunk along with the service provided , if it wasn't for a young man there who assisted us , I would never go back ... Unfortunately we have products that we are waiting for .. Awful if not for us and all customers these people wouldn't have a job ! Good Guys do better ...
Great experience today. We went in just looking for a rice cooker. A staff member, Willow, came straight over to us and helped us decide which one was not only the best for us but also the best value. Highly recommend. Customer service was fantastic
Received the best customer service from a guy down in the fridge section today sorry I forgot to grab your name but he price matched a fridge for me as the one I wanted was out of stock and was in desperate need of a fridge. He did the fridge and delivery the next day for me! He truly cared about the customer and double checked everything for me. Thank you!
Worst click & collect service I have ever experienced. Staff member at the counter called for another to assist us 3 times Waited for 30 mins and still no one came to help. Left without our item. This is the second time we have experienced this from 2 online purchases. Should have known from our first experience that click and collect was a bad idea at this store. The Store was extremely quiet with plenty of staff roaming around moving products etc. My understanding was click & collect was supposed to be convenient. Never again
Sales staff were helpful but delivery service was poor. Was given a delivery ‘window’ and after waiting another hour after the delivery window was told by the store that the ‘window’ is just a guide and really I should have expected to be available ALL day for the delivery. Something I was not told when deciding whether or not to pay for a delivery service.
His name is Keith, really rude and poor customer service. Staffs are unprofessional. We have ordered a dishwasher to be delivery on Friday. At the time we do the deposit, I just can’t remember how many time I mentioned them that please book the delivery and installation date on the same date which Friday, they said ‘yes, for sure’. So I took that Friday off from my work. A day before the delivery date, I paid in full and then received a text message from the staff said that the delivery date will be one day before the installation date. I called him and asked why because I made it very clear before that I wanted it on Friday, instead of clearly explaining to the customer, that staff just answered ‘no, it had to be, otherwise we need to cancel the order’. Can someone tell me are they the one who needs the buyer or are we the one who needs the seller? If I could, I will vote for that staff 0 star.
I bought a bar fridge and a washing machine from the ‘good guys’ recently. Organised to have it delivered to my new place. The delivery men arrived half an hour late and took the washing machine up three flights of stairs, i offered to help them with both the washer and the fridge but they said they could handle it and didn’t need help. I waited for them to bring up the fridge and they never did, i went back downstairs and they were gone. Tried calling ‘the good guys’ Geelong and they didn’t pick up the phone. Some friends and i drove to the store and asked the counter ladies what happened, they then spent close to an hour trying to find a manager. When they did, it took him until after closing to give us a fridge we now had to transport ourselves. Didn’t refund my delivery fee or offer any kind of compensation. This was more ‘hood guys’ than it was good guys, i am flabbergasted by this god-awful service and will never seek out their service again.
Went to pickup a fridge, website clearly states in stock at Geelong warehouse AND in stock at Geelong store ready for pickup. In store the saleswoman says "well no ofcourse we don't have them here, they are at the warehouse, which is not open to public. So cant pickup, you need to wait until we bring it over here". When I questioned why the website says its available in store, she argued it is in stock at the warehouse and that's the same thing. Well actually no its not. Misleading website. When I kindly told her I don't have the luxury to wait and I needed it today so I would go elsewhere she became argumentative. Even telling me that "well normally we don't even open until 10am so you wouldn't have gotten it now anyway". Gave me eye rolls and head shakes. Wont be back. Drove out to Harvey Norman, got the fridge immediately as their website states and ended up buying a new TV and some other items aswell. Good guys lost over $5000 of purchases and glad I didn't give them a cent. Highly reccomended you go elsewhere.
Very quick to make a sale, follow up customer service on a failed delivery was terrible. Did not return phone calls from store or there delivery service. Clearly dont care once sale is completed. Dought whether I'll shop there again.
