I recently used The Good Guys’ premium delivery service, which included removal of my old fridge. Unfortunately, during the removal process, my staircase was damaged — several chunks were taken out, and the team did not notify me at the time. I only noticed the following morning.nnI have since raised this with The Good Guys and am waiting for a resolution. While I’ve generally had positive experiences purchasing from them, this incident highlights a need for much greater care and accountability in their delivery service.
I don't recommend Good Guys Geelong, have been purchasing products from but would prefer Harvey Norman if they had similar product & price. Customer service is poor, they always seem under staff and when you come back with product issues the staff makes you feel that you are putting them out, rather then trying to help you. They lost my vacuum that was faulty twice and they also never call you back - even though they said they would, you have to constantly call to chase up issues. Totally poor service and defintely should shop some where else first!
Brilliant advice and customer service from Tanya, her knowledge in the products is amazing, from the coffee machine, vacuum and Smart TV.nTanya went above and beyond to get the exact TV I was wanting, it was delivered within 3 days after purchasing. It’s been a long time since I’ve received good old fashion customer service, I will definitely be purchasing everything through Tanya in the future.nWhat an asset Tanya is to the Good Guys.
Just bad. Just been in to Geelong to get Click and Collect. Shocked to find store shut and some poor guy on a chair outside. He said call the number on website. No answer tried a second number. Been on hold a while. Now told my order sitting in Geelong but l cannot get it and will be delivered free but no idea when. How about someone using their brain when they know this is going to happen and putting a message out to Geelong customers. I went to get my item at 11.30 am and now 12.50. Took that long to find the details and get a person to speak to. Good Guys, you have lost me for good. Change your name!
Pathetic. Ordered online and paid for a new DeLonghi LaSpecialista Touch. Rang them the next day because the product wasn't delivered, as promised. No answer. Store closed for relocation, but money was accepted and no chance of delivery for up to 2 weeks. Help centre finally organised for one to be delivered from Hoppers Crossing 2 days later. To accept the payment without any chance of delivery is deceptive, at least. It now appears I cannot register the product for warranty because no tax invoice was issued because of the mix up. As a 20+ year customer of The Good Guys I think this has to be the line in the sand. No more.
