Kiwi Shop Gold Coast opened on 27th October 2007 and has quickly grown to the largest on the east coast. We are a family business who aims to cure our kiwi customers of homesickness by selling a range of groceries, clothing, giftware and glassware. Tons of variety. From old school faves to household essentials, such as mink blankets, watties, lollies and pounamu carvings. If you're stuck for a 21st key they stock these too. Found frozen kina and paua in the frozen section and got the cheery kiwi service they're renowned for. A line of apparel including caps, hats, beenies, tees and merch for the Warriors and All Black's. Tons of car decals at the front counter. Google takes you to the back entrance to I've posted pics of the front from the motorway. Much easier if you're not familiar with the area.
Very disappointed at the staff that was working today, I am a fellow Kiwi missing the food from the homeland. I was on my way to get some Vogels and rang to ensure you were open and had this in stock to which I was told YES, I mentioned I am on my way. I got stuck in a traffic jam however still got there on time 4:55pm but the doors were closed. I saw the staff member and called out to her in which she just mouthed CLOSED and walked away. What is the point in opening hours if you don't stick to them. Very disappointed!!! :- Not very Kiwiana of you!
Can't live without our 2L Whitlocks Tomato Chutney - can handle paying $14.95 as cheaper than flying to get it myself and risk getting stuck in quarantine. Or worse, putting it in my hand luggage and getting it confiscated by border staff for exceeding liquid allowances .....true story
Great to see kiwi classics. From Mallow puffs to watties sauces and other memorable childhood delights. Definitely recommend visiting this shop. Bought our fav soya sauce for island chop suey and a few kiwi treats. Will be a regular shopping spot now.
A must to visit for your kiwi hit. Lovely people service with a laugh and a smile. Stock up on your fav kiwi goodies. Great to get gifts for different occasions.
Kiwi shop is so so good...for ex pat kiwis who haven’t been home for awhile this place will transport you back to your childhood... For everyone else a chance to try some really cool flavours and products from the land of the long white cloud
Good selection of foods and frozen stuff, candy and groceries. Nice trinkets and some clothing but bit pricey for us. We do only go there for something we cannot find elsewhere and just pay the higher price-cheaper than the flight haha.
Really great selection of NZ products. My family in law loved the snacks I bought for Xmas. Highly recommend.
