Kings Canyon Resort - Room very nice & clean but would have been better if it had been pre cooled before we arrived after a long drive to get there. Took ages for air con to cool it down. Pool had a lot of leaves & dead bugs in it. Picture window with spa was awesome. A few fly zappers in Carmichael's restaurant would have been beneficial. Had to cover drinks with a napkin. Pool and pool area looked much better at the Holiday Park

It is owned by the rubbish sooo-called resort. Expensive lodge room without kitchen and toilet ($134/night) , expensive goods, expensive groceries, expensive food in restaurant ($30 up), expensive fuels with low quality (202.2) No WiFi, very pooooor 3G coverage. Dirty cups in the room, the staff didn’t wash them. many many dead bugs over the kettle, and the bed If you decide to stay in this sooooo-called resort, I strongly recommend you sleep in the car on the highway. Bring your own food, fuel and sleeping bag, mattress. If you want to ruin your happy holiday, go on~~ I wish you guys well~ Should be -999999stars

This campsite is an absolute rip-off. We paid $20 per person for an unpowered site, you don’t get a site assigned but you just park wherever you like. The amenities are pretty disgusting, lots of flies and bugs - I know it’s in the center of a national park but you could tell that parts of the amenities hadn’t been cleaned for months. The kitchen floors were super dirty and oily, no way that they get cleaned daily. When we used the outdoor kitchen (when I say kitchen I actually mean a ‘sink’ because apparently that’s what they call kitchen) there was a strange smell and suddenly the floor was flooded by dirt water. Everything is really old, there’s no Telstra phone reception and they make you pay for WiFi. Better drive down to the Canyon there’s free Wifi. The shop is super expensive, make sure to stock up, including fuel. Overall very poor experience, no idea why it’s call resort, next time I’ll definitely prefer a free camp, and again - $20 per person is absolutely ridiculous, that’s the most expensive rate we’ve had since we started traveling Australia a month ago.
