Stayed here for 3 nights on a powered site. Each site was tidy and spacious. Amenities were great. Even though there were plenty of families the camp ground itself was very quiet. Close walk to town centre. Most tours meet out the front so you won't need to drive anyway after parking up. Dog-friendliness: Dogs on leash and with you at all times, dogs not allowed in National parks.
Decent price given it is the only one around. Definitely book way by in advance if you have a camper trailer as there is VERY limited spots. Our site had a large overhanging tree which scraped all over our camper at night which was a little annoying. Toilets weren't cleaned over the 2 nights we were there but still were in reasonable condition. Easy access to the resort shops and short drive to the nation park.
Huge park. I needed a cut lunch to get to the amenities!! They were clean and tidy. Pleasant office staff. You have to go online to get your 3 day national park pass. Very dusty park. But you get that up there.
We previously stayed two years ago and it was excellent. This time we were placed near the over flow area amongst two school groups which was ok until a shower was needed. Unfortunately every second shower was missing taps preventing you from turning the water on in the shower. The place was clean. It was just a lack of maintenance that needed attention
This camp ground is huge, as is the overflow area. The staff are friendly and the facilities are modern and very clean When we were there it was only about a quarter full so plenty on space. Some sites are bigger than others and I can see how it could feel quite squashed when full at peak season. The interesting thing is that even though the grounds were so empty they would not approve a late check out for our van, even though we are gday members. Playground: Yes Restrooms: Clean Dog-friendliness: Yes
Stayed 2 nights on an unpowered site with our 4wd and rooftop tent. The site was ridiculously tiny, not much bigger than a normal parking space. Kitchens had nothing but grill and place for doing dishes, everything seemed new though. Bathrooms we're clean, new and many but far away. Pool had murky water and worse than that - absolutely no shade! In this day and age of knowing how important it is to protect oneself from the sun - this is unacceptable.
Great spot to stay if you are travelling or want better value than the resort. There are cabins, a lawn area for tents and parks for vans and tour groups. A laundry, pool and ammenties block are clean and tidy. There is a free shuttle bus service to Yulara town centre or you can walk it in 10 minutes. Tours also leave from the bus stop out front. For best views of Ayres Rock, take the walking track out of the camp ground near the bus stop. Restrooms: Flushing toilets and warm showers.
Very clean facilities, well laid out campground, and a selection of cabins that can accommodate a family. They are small, but have a kitchen, tv, but you do need to use the shower and toilet blocks. Definitely the cheapest option to stay at Yulara and visit Ulara.
This was one of the better sites we've stayed at. Heaps of space for the tent. Very clean modern showers and toilets.very well maintained dite with pleasant staff.
Staff friendly at checkin. This is the first time we had encountered the limit on alcohol sales, so that was interesting. Certainly suggest bringing your alcohol with you. Our site was ok but waste water drains blocked. Amenities ok but it appeared that 4 of the ladies toilets were permanently locked so there was always a line up for the toilet. The resort facilities good overall, good shopping centre in the town square.
