Delicatble, deliciousness, these are two words to describe this food spot! The staff are friendly and very helpful, wait time on food is not long at all, this place is so good! I highly recommend you go and try this establishment out.
Fresh off the boat and looking for a feed, King Of The Castle was a conveniently close option. While 7am was a little early, the kitchen opened at 7.30 and proved it was more than worth the wait - with incredible hot cakes and the King's breakfast living up to the name - everything on the plate was incredible. I am lucky my partner got a photo, otherwise this review would only be able to show an empty plate.
We came to King of the castle Cafe because of its 5 star reviews. We arrived to find it a ‘hipster cafe’ We arrived for breakfast and were shown to a shared table. We ordered the sticky chai and it was delicious! The ambiance was ruined by the acoustics… there was music playing but it was indiscernible due to background noise.nWe ordered the Kings breakfast and the Eggs Bennie. Both were delicious however the hash browns were more like rostis and thick and slimy. There was no crunchy outside and they were not golden brown in any way. A huge disappointment.nnPerhaps the staff should focus more on the food than their man buns!
This place is spacious with a modern atmosphere. I had the wrap which was delicious, however the mushroom on toast was a bit too rich. They have a kids menu and gluten free options.
Very friendly staff and wholesome food! Courtyard in the front is dog friendly and lots of bike parking spots. Sunny courtyard with window opening connecting with food station.
