This is our GO TO Thai place! We love it! We've been going here ever since it opened & it's delish! We have gone here A LOT of times! We have nearly been happy with every meal. We've tried lots of different dishes, e.g, Pad Thai Chicken/Prawn, Chicken Pad Peanut Sauce, Gai Pad Med, Pad Khing, Spring Rolls, Chicken Satay Skewers, Pad Se-ew, etc. It's all tasted super tasty. And all the dishes I've gotten have been loaded with veggies & yummy sauces & meat which is what I love. Prices have gone up over the years which is a shame but everything is going up so I guess it's to be expected. But definitely recommend! We always recommend to family & friends! : - Pictured is the Chicken Pad Peanut Sauce!

BEST. THAI. EVER!!! I’m a regular Thai food eater as a vegan, and this is up there with some of the best Thai I’ve had! The stir fry and the curry were both absolute hits!! Thanks for such delicious and affordable food! Vegetarian options: Amazing fried tofu bites! My yellow curry was so tasty and light, and the tofu cashew stir fry was super delicious!!
Very yummy, got numbers 38 and 60. 60 was delicious and would highly recommend. However, it's a little expensive and with 38 costing 16.50$ we barely got any duck which is a shame. Would have rated 4 or even 5 stars if there was more. We got medium spicy too and it wasn't that spicy. Edit: had two more times and it was delicious both times, still lacking protein so we'll just get the cheaper tofu option from now on. Raising to four stars.
Super friendly, Delicious food, Meat and vege are always fresh, Beautifully balanced flavours to perfection . Highly recommend, especially the Pork Nam Tok!!
Love this place. We have been coming for years. Even when we lived in Onehunga we struggled to find good Thai and would drive to Khoo Thai to pick up. Highly recommend and super friendly.Food: 5/5
Prawn Pad Thai only got 4 prawns with extra Chicken & 4 x Spring Rolls $23.00 all up, maybe a little pricey for what you get. Fast & friendly service. Tasty food. Spring Rolls come with Sweet Chilli Sauce. Portion size 2 people was on the small side & if we hadn't also had the spring rolls we would have been wanting more.
Unfortunately I’m very disappointed in this dish that they call pad Thai absolutely horrible if you asked me even two minute noodles tasted better than this. Where do I start There was no flavour at all just tasted like sloppy noodles full of oil and maybe 4 thin slices of chicken if that extremely disappointing and will definitely not be coming back
Thought I had already left a review - I have been coming here for about 10years? And am still a huge fan. This is my favourite local for takeaways and to be honest when I get other food I often wish I had just got Khoo Thai instead lol. You can't get better tasting quality food like this for this price anywhere. When these guys are on point their flavours are just as good as any fancy Thai restaurant. If I am invited to other Thai restaurants I often think to myself, Khoo Thai is better! Sometimes on very busy nights the flavours aren't as perfect as they usually are but I can't blame them when they get crazy busy. My faves are the Chicken Larb & the Red Duck Curry. Thanks for feeding me delicious healthy tasty food for a decade.
Super Tasty but they are SO tight on the amount of meat. You have to pay $5 extra to get a normal sized meat portion otherwise you end up with 90% veges and noodles/rice. Even stingy with the chicken which is the cheapest meat to use. The prices have been increasing over time but the meat portions are decreasing…
