Overall, a very satisfying visit to KFC. The chicken was juicy and well-seasoned, and the sides, especially the coleslaw, were fresh and tasty. Service was friendly, though it took a little longer than expected during peak hours. The restaurant was clean and comfortable for dining in. A solid choice if you’re craving fried chicken — just one minor delay keeps it from five stars.
The communication between the two windows is non existent. Chips are always undercooked and half filled and employees lie about freshness of chicken. 3/4 times i have to ask for napkins after getting my order and when i do the workers scoff and having to get them like you've insulted their family.
I've been here several times for dine in and takeaway ordering in-store or using the app. Although generally we get what we ordered, there's been times where they've left out an item or incorrectly given the wrong mix of original vs hot and spicy chicken. My suggestion is to check your order before you leave.nnFood wise, its generally up to standard and an average and OK KFC.nnNote that during busy times, like dinner time, they can get very busy and wait times can be long especially if you go in store, given priority is given to drive through. Staff are generally trying their best, but there's been the occasion where they stuff up the queue and you can still be waiting for your food well after people who arrived after you have received their order. On top of that, because they've taken so long to fill your order, some items like the chips may be served cold and soggy. Their excuse is that they have trainees, but why would you put excessive trainees on when you know you will be busy, such as if there's a good deal on for that day. Something doesn't seem right.
As usual, chips are undercooked, like eating a raw potato and they got the sauce on my slider wrong, absolutely disgusting, and it had I’m not even kidding three tiny strands of lettuce in it. I don’t understand how hard it is for staff to prepare food properly, especially when it’s not even busy. Highly recommend going to the HJs next door and save your time.
KFC Dogswamp in Yokine is great for tasty fried chicken. Friendly staff, good service, and delicious options like burgers and wraps. Easy ordering through UberEats, Menulog, or drive-thru. Overall, very good food and service.
