Drive Thru out to road do though would order from front counter. 1 staff member putting together orders at front. No service didn’t even look at me, waited and left after 3-4 minutes. Was Friday at 1pm, pretty ordinary.
It's KFC. The burgers always look exactly the same as they do on the ads. No they don't They usually taste alright though and service is generally pretty good. Drive thru is a bit weird and always backed up out into the road at peak times. Rock on Gympie
I am very disappointed in the staff at KFC Gympie that were on shift on Thursday 13/08/2026 between 1pm and 2pm. There was an incident between several young men that involved several by standers. Which included my 84 year old mother and my 9 year old cousin and daughter in-law during the altercation my family was forcefully separated from each other. My mother and young cousin who were trapped inside the restaurant was pushed around by one of the young men inside the KFC restaurant. While my daughter in-law was outside the restaurant and couldn't get in. The altercation happened several times with same men involved each time. Being older generation my mother ended up having her 2 bits of say to the young man to be careful and stop the carry on. But during this whole time the shift manager nor any of the staff on duty actual have a conversation with the patrons at the restaurant to see if everyone was OK. My young cusion who was visiting from another state was a little shook up about the whole situation as well as my mother. I am thankful that my mother didn't fall as she has osteoporosis and when she falls she tends to break something. The staff need to have training in regards to duty of care. They need to keep in mind that they have a duty of care to not only your own staff but also the customers that are at your restaurant.
Absolutely appalling oil soaked original chicken. We couldn’t taste anything , only dirty oil no secret herbs and spices its appearance was dreadful and the few small bites we took just tasted bad. We have always used the drive through service as we live 40 kilometres away and pick up on our way home after appointments. This is the 3rd time that we have paid a lot of money for a dreadful product. We won’t go back again. KFC Gympie…. pick up your act and provide the public with what they expect to be paying for a good quality product I don’t think it even deserves one
Went to Gympie kfc on my birthday yesterday and was really looking forward to itnThis is what I got for $15 I ended up giving it to the dog . Chicken so dry and very burnt , chips cold and shrivelled up and pototo gravy was coldnBread roll was the only thing that was ok , as it was take away I didn’t take it back but I will not be going back there .
