Curries were plentiful and meat beautifully tender. We were however disappointed with the flavour. Not really a curry flavour at all, more of a tender stew. Not looking for heat, but but that rich mix of creamy, spicy deliciousness. I had a 20 minute drive home and was surprised not to have that beautiful aroma enticing me on my journey either. Sorry, underwhelming…. But will give you another go in a few months. The staff and the restaurant are lovely and it must be gorgeous sitting out on the terrace on a clear night. Parking: Close and easy

On our travels in Australia my partner and I are trying many Indian Restaurant because we love the food. In every Indian Restaurant we are going we will order "Butter Chicken, Garlic Naan and Rice" and sometimes a second, different dish. Until this time we've never been disappointed of the food. Every Restaurant has its own unique taste of the dish but it was always wonderful. Unfortunately we have been disappointed of the Butter Chicken and the Garlic Naan from this Restaurant. Don't get me wrong, it was nice, it is good food but it wasn't delicious, it wasn't as flavoured as it usually is. It was very sweet and at the same time it hadn't much flavour. I don't know how to describe. And it wasn't very tasty at all when we ate it cold the next day. Usually the meal will taste super good even cold the next day but not here. I personally will not eat a Butter Chicken again in this Restaurant but maybe the other dishes are fantastic. The staff was very friendly.

What a lovely night we had for our anniversary with our great friends and thank you to all the staff at Delights of India. The food was awesome we will definitely be back and will recommend you to all our friends. Such a relaxed & friendly atmosphere. Hard to pick a favourite dish as everything we had were excellent.
I had quick dinner yesterday and food was amazing, I never thought that I would experience nice food somewhere in Gympie, I live in Brisbane and never had some authentic Indian food like it's in India. Good job to chef for good food. Yes I do had to wait a lil but it's worth a wait. Keep up the good work guys.
We were so welcomed and they made a mug of Indian chai proper punjabi style for me, at my request eventhough we got there 30 mins before closing time. They make the best onion and chilli kulchas.
Lunch today. Absolutely delicious. These folks put 100% into their food, and it shows. The Garlic Naan bread was the best we've had ANYWHERE, and the mains kept the same high standard. Staff are friendly and genuinely keen to please. Cannot speak highly enough of the entire experience. This was the first time we have been there. It won't be the last! If I had my way, I'll work through the entire menu.
Thoroughly enjoyed our first taste from Delights of India menu. Excellent service from the beginning -assisting menu choices with courteous and professional phone service. The meal was delicious authentic Indian food. Serving sizes were generous with good quantity of meat and the sauce had “texture”. The goat curry, Tandoori Mix platter, and naan were all so delicious. We will definitely be back
