If you're a woman seeking help from a family violence situation, Dr Jones is NOT the GP for you. It took enormous courage for me to finally open up to somebody about the abuse I was experiencing in my relationship and the first question I was asked by Dr Jones was 'Are you sure you're not over dramatising the situation, perhaps misinterpreting things?'  I suspect Dr Jones is very popular with patients of his own generation, but his old fashioned and sexist views are no longer relevant and helpful in this day and age. In fact, his irresponsible remarks sent me into a spiral of self doubt and I stayed in the abusive relationship longer than I suspect I would have had he offered non-judgemental support and referral for appropriate treatment. I wrote a letter of complaint some years after the comment to Kensington Hill Medical Centre where I saw him, but received no response. Overall, a disappointing and damaging experience.

"dr steven wride" We waited at Estia Health in Bannockburn for 6 1/2 hours for a presription to settle my destraught and confused Alzheimer's patient Father who was in the aged care facility for the first time. Staff called this "so called" medical professional at least 4 times and actually got to speak with him at around 5:40 ish. My elderly mother and myself then stood in Bannockburn Pharmacy for 40 minutes waiting for a script he had promised to urgently call and fax through but it never came. Now my Father is in Geelong hospital with a suspected broken hip because without meds he could not be settled and fell. If there's one "person" pffft I would like to meet face to face right at this minute it's him !!! The staff at Estia Health are fantastic, the staff at Wrides facility are very, very unhelpful and should consider careers in the prison service. What a heartless bunch of Amatuers these jokers are.
