We were greeted warmly when we arrived and the food came out promptly after ordering. Everything we ordered was really good. The small plates were quite generous and my ramen was really good. Friendly farewell as we left. Even though this is a casual restaurant it delivers great quality. The pork katsu curry was delicious, rice was cooked just right. Ramen was good too but lacking a bit of flavour, not the best in town. The karaage chicken was too dry and not recommended to order. Overall an okay experience.Recommended disheskatsu curry
Portions were suitable for starving people like us that day. We ordered Eel and Tonkatsu Set. Both were tasty, specially the deep fried pork. Visited in Dec 2022, close to Xmas time.
I ordered their Miso Tonkotsu Ramen and it was kinda okay. Tolerable. I've been to Japan and tasted authentic ramen, this is far from it tho. Quality is okay meh actually, noodles was obviously synthetic, and taste has a lot of room for improvement. I don't know their best seller though. Maybe I picked the wrong dish to taste in this restaurant.
They've renovated it to make it have a more Japanese vibe. Small shop in the Arcades of Rundle Mall. Decent sized meal and affordable. The meat is abit tough for the katsu pork. But generally it was alright for the price you pay
Love the vibe of the restaurant. The food was cheap with good portion size. The kastsu curry tastes very delicious. The flavour of the curry was very strong, and the katsu was amazing. Ordered some Karaage, and it was average. There are varieties of dishes to choose from the menu. Definitely recommend this restaurant.Food: 5/5
Nice restaurant in the middle on rundle mall. Service was quick and servers were polite. The dishes were good quantity and tasted very well. 1 set is enough for 1 person.
I have been coming here for a while now and never had a bad dish or experience. In fact it is one of the most consistently good places for lunch I have found in the city. Staff and the owner have always been friendly and personable. The staff and restaurant are neat and tidy. I have never had any issues with my orders or the service received. Please note that at times it gets very busy and there is a little wait from ordering but what popular lunchtime joint doesn't experience this at the lunchtime rush! The staff and owner are always apologetic and will generally tell you if there is going to be a delay! The meals are definitely filling and certainly affordable for a location in one of adelaides nicest arcades. Strongly recommend this place if you are looking for a decent meal and good atmosphere.
Was introduced to this interesting and wonderful dish years ago. Finally had the chance to review this. Very recommended, especially for vegans. Absolutely love the sauce. I will always revisit this place just for this Nasu Dengaku set ? Sry if I misspelled.
Inedible dry old chicken that did smell so bad. I requested skin free fried chicken and this is what I got. Feels so bad how this authentic Japanese place has gone so bad. The server kept arguing that this is so fresh. Disappointed.Food: 1/5
