Kaos Custom Bikes

Andrew at Kaos is a seriously skilled mechanic. There's plenty of other bike shops and mobile mechanics near me but it's worth the drive to know my bike is going to be safe on the downhill trails.

I went to Kaos after the rim on my front wheel blew out. I searched Facebook groups and Andy at Kaos was consistently mentioned as an expert wheel-builder and great operator. After a phone chat, I visited the shop and Andy gave me well-informed, straight-up, no b/s advice about my options - presenting me with a range of ways to move forward at varying price / quality levels. I then went back to the shop a few weeks later, picked out my new wheel set, and left my bike with Andy and his team for a service and once-over. Picked it up today and am really happy with the result. Andy is not only extremely knowledgable, he clearly takes great pride in providing quality service. Even though it's my first experience at Kaos, I can see that it's through this service that he's built up such a respected business. I'll certainly be taking my bike to Andy to look after from now on. Thanks Andy, keep up the great work!

I just noticed Roberts comment. Here's mine. I have dealt with Andrew for years. As one of his customers he goes out of his way to look after all my cycling needs. I buy all my equipment from him and he never charges me for his brilliant labour. Here comes Robert who has not spent a cent with Andrew and he expects Andrew to throw in items on an 80 dollar job. I spent 2,500 on Andrews custom wheels and they are unmatched any where in Australia. I suggest Robert goes back to Kmart to have his cheep wheels fixed. You don't know what you have walked away from Robert. Oh and here is one for you too. Do you really think that your 80-100 dollar spend would have made a difference to a business that sells bikes for thousands of dollars? Andrew would have done your job so that you would become a client after you experienced good workmanship. You are not a Kaos custom bike customer so stop winging as serious cyclist shop there and we are not interested in your penny pinching comments.

Great service and quality products. The owner really knows his stuff. Fantastic advice and he really takes the time to understand your needs complimented with a no BS approach. Honesty that is refreshing rather than sales people who just want to make a sale.

Its been difficult to get what I need, Kaos came to the rescue, amazing knowledge and help, got a unique commuter and picked up an incredible set of hand built wheels to go with it. All done in only 4 days. I am the envy of all other bicycle commuters. Thanks heaps
