Well finally figured out how to write a review lol What can I say, I am relocating back to Brisbane and required a small car for a few days till I fly out. Called several car hire places then called Joondalup car hire  Tracy with a very strong Pommy accent ROFL answered the call she is actually scottish and was totally amazing with her professionalism as I like to have a laugh and be a little bit of a joke.  Tracy took my sarcasm with a grain of salt and helped me get a great deal for the intended hire period. When I picked the vehicle up the service from Tracy and Joondalup car hire was to a level that no big corporate companies would ever match, quick and very efficient. I would with no hesitation recommend anyone that is requiring a vehicle to hire as u will not be disappointed so contact this small business. Keep up the great work Trace and Joondalup Car Hire.

I hired a little Hyundai Getz last month for 4 weeks. The customer service I experienced was great and I'd highly recommend them.

Very reasonably priced. The cars go fine. They ain't fancy but they cheap.

Nice people here but first, the car had 180,0000 kms on the clock and lots of damage, but worst of all, I took the car back 3 days early as my own car was ready and they refused to refund the hire fees for those days. I've never known a hire car company do that. Don't go here unless you're sure you need the car for the full time as you WON'T get your money back. Not happy

The car was old. Didn't drive much. At the return filled it at 7/11 station few metres away. But the fuel indicator didn't move. Lady at the car hire wanted to charge me fuel fees. Had to argue, suggested to go to the station but they didn't agree. Finally took a video, told them that legally it's the tank has to be full, not the indicator has to be up. Eventually got sorted but with stress and arguments. The mechanics there agree that the indicator doesn't move in such cases, so why making such fuss and making people nervous?

As a visitor to Australia, I had excellent personal service from Chris. She was upfront about all the charges, offered different alternatives and patiently explained all the options. This is much better than seeing all the national offers online which come with extra hidden costs. She also took extra care to supply a manual vehicle, as soon as it became available, and happily adjusted changes to my dates of hiring the car.

After i was involved in crash last week I hired a car here for a week. The service I received was next to excellent. I had read a few reviews online that where negative but they where far from what I found. The lady on the front desk who did the paper work on the hire car was so caring and full of adviced. Yes they take a bond but who doesn't. They arranged a car for me exactly what I asked for within 1 hour of me calling on that day.  Once I returned the car I received my bond back the same day.. I could  not fault them.  Would definitely use Jondalup car hire again

I have a rental at the moment, the car is old and in poor condition. To be charged $30+ a day for a 2 door dented, scratched, rusted old Getz that has issues such as electric mirror buttons don’t work, clutch must be down for the car to start, radio drops in and out, a speaker sounds blown and the clutch is on its way out, it’s release is way too high. I was told if I had any issues with the car to contact them before RAC as they have on site mechanics not surprised with the age of the cars. I understand mechanical things can happen, but if I’m renting a vehicle for 3 days from a car hire company that charges industry prices, I’m not expecting I should have any issues that would suggest i need any further info on *Roadside assistance included. Unless of course they advertised their vehicles honestly, with a more age and condition appropriate price. No where on the website or via phone query is it mentioned their rentals are old, which at least you would know what to expect. $3 more a day you can hire a newer model vehicle, with the same offerings of roadside, insurance, but also free unlimited kms if hired for a week. Customer service was average. And I had the if no other listed drivers/no insurance cover clause brought up with me multiple times, over the phone, read in the forms I signed, and spoken to me in person even after I already told her there will be no other drivers and I understand if there were to be that insurance wouldn’t be covered, yet she continued. I am 40 and have had my license for over 20.years. This isn’t my first contract signed I read what I sign and it’s not my first hire car. I feel I was told this multiple times as when I queried cost and into for a hire I told her I would speak to my daughter before booking it, hence her mentioning the added driver info on the phone, to which I explained, there won’t be, the reason I am speaking to my daughter first is because she would be paying for it as she crashed my car. Anyway, that’s how I received her. I also found the initial vehicle inspection reports not so great. We did a walk around of the car and she wrote in hard to read hand writing issues she found and then left to make a copy of the report without my even viewing and agreeing to it. I won’t be using Joondalup Car Hire again, sorry guys, your cars need an update overhaul and so does the your vehicle handover process.
