After read those last reviews. I'd say the opp. I found the guy there was bloody good. Everyone has a bad day and he should communicate a bit more. But I was happy

NOT RECOMMENDED I had my bike there for a general service. After picking it up the gears would not shift properly and the bike got returned to fix this. I was told that they can't do it better and the problem was the gear-assembly. When pointing out that it never was a problem in over a decade the guy got rude and snippy, telling me that he can't do it better and I should go to another shop. I got ripped off for $75. Eventually I did it myself in 5 minutes. These guys have no idea about the basic working of bicycle mechanics, at least they admitted they can't do it. It's worth going to the bigger shops where they look after their customers and the young guns there are passionate about what they do.

Went in to replace a broken spoke and was quoted $20 to do so and pick my bike up a week later to find he had replaced my spoke and did a full service and replaced my rear shock seals and then tyres to charge me $180 then i kindly said to him that I only asked for the spoke to be replaced just to be yelled at and told to don't bother coming back bad form I do not recommend this bike shop and I would rather travel to another bike shop for better service

I had a quote from a bike shop at corner of dixon street and victoria street for $400 for a disc and califer brake replacement(SCAM), second quote from johnsonville cycles, a simple allen key adjustment was all that was required, i didn't tell this shop that i had had a prior quote, johsonville cycles cost $75, that included all over check, wheel realignment was needed, francis sorted my bike at a fantastic price, an honest guy, going to him made me angry that dixon street bike shop was HARD SCAMMING me!!!
