Bought a Byron corner chaise+ottoman down in rutherford store. The salesperson in store at that time gave us a really good customer service, finalised everything for delivery. The delivery was scheduled on 02.03.2018. The goods were delivered on the said date but upon opening the plastic wrap, to our dismay the dust cover of ottoman is ripped. So we called the store on the day but to no avail. We just left a voice mail regarding the issue hoping that someone will give us a call back. Days passed and yet there’s still no response from the said call. We then decided to walk in store only to be turned down and be given a calling card to call the customer service. The next day, we called the customer service and spoke to “summer” regarding the problem, she then booked a schedule for them to come to my place to fix it. The day comes, no one turned up. I followed up again and spoke to the same lady only to be told that the guy that supposed to come resigned and she is still looking for someone to do the job. I did say, thats ok so long as it gets fixed. We ended the phone call with a promise that it will be put on priority list. So another phone call received after two weeks from a mobile number asking if i am home and he was from john cootes and wanting to come to my place at that particular time to fix the ottoman. I declined as i was at work and theres not enough notice given to us and then arranged another schedule for next week on our days off being friday. The day came and of course! No one turned up. Next day another phone call received booking us for the 10th and i did say that we will only be home until 11am as we are also working. Yesterday was the said day 10.05.18. No one came. I have received missed call from a mobile number whilst at work at around 2pm. I knew it was the guy again from john cootes. And today, i received a phone call from customer service tellig me that their handyman was calling yesterday and he cant find our address. My response to that is to not worry about it as i had enough.
Friendly non pushy sales staff. Great range of quality future and accessories at reasonable prices. And my table arrived sooner than promised. I couldn't ask for more and I will be back
Walked around for 15-30 minutes. Wasn't approached or even greeted by staff. Would understand if the place was busy, but 2 staff were deep in conversation. Walked out without a single word from staff. Took my money to Harvey Norman.
We purchased a lounge from john cootes rutherford today and all the team members there were so friendly and extremely helpful. Definitely will be going back for any future furniture needs
My experience here has been terrible the manager was disrespectful and I bought a lounge from here and is broke in the first month I had it and the manager blamed it in me. I was disgusted with Rutherford store if I was you I would go someplace else
